Solid oldstyle Deli/diner in clean modern room. Good prices and service. Power points in the booths.Lacks a little charm but is still worth going.
Great old school deli. I love their soup. They cook their eggs perfectly as ordered and they're just plain friendly. Really good vibe.
Comfortable, remodeled recently, good and fast service. However, the best feature is the quality of the deli. Great pickles, on location cured pastrami, properly finished rare roast beef. The salads are huge (a half order is enough).A bit expensive... It is in Santa Monica about 20 blocks from the beach.Great place for classical deli food and atmosphere!
Clean, pleasant & professional service, great food and reasonable prices. As more and more delis in LA become casualties of the pandemic, we hope Fromin's is here to stay!
Best service by far I've ever had in a restaurant. Very cheerful ambience. Superb food. Be sure to try mushroom and barley soup! Great corned beef sandwiches!
Stopped in for lunch today since we were in the area. Great menu, with lots of NY style stuff. Being from the Philly area, we know this kind of food, and this place was good. I had the Pastrami special and my wife had the Corned Beef specialm whch we both split, Both of which were good, but the pastrami was better than the corned beef. The service, hoswever, was not good. Our server was friendly, but never stopped back to see how we were, even though he walked by the table at least 4 times, never even turning his head to ask. Prices were actually pretty decent considering what you got. Go for the food, and hopefully you'll have better service.
The food at this deli has hit rock bottom in recent years. In the last 2 weeks I placed 2 orders for delivery. We threw most of the food away because it was inedible. Rock hard bagels. Fries that were both stale AND burnt. A brisket “dip” sandwich that was flavorless and served on bread that disintegrated in the au jus. A sliced tomato ($4.50) arrived WHOLE and nearly frozen. Cream cheese that had no taste. Fromin’s has clearly stopped caring about the quality of their work.

I was in heaven! I have waited 2 years to eat here again! I am in love with the matzo ball soup!!!!! Need I say more???? Oh, yes I ordered the 1/2 sandwich of liverwurst on egg bread with lots of mayo and cheese and I died and went to heaven! Thank you Frommins!
