We had a fantastic family meal here on a Saturday night. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
We ordered Italian food for our family of five two nights ago and were shocked by the lack of quality of the ingredients! After seeing the nice Website we were really expecting nice food. The Pizza was completely soggy and it seemed like the toppings were poured right out of the tin cans onto the pizza! The Lasagne was just a meat sauce with barely any pasta-layers and with no resemblance of lasagne as we know it from Italy or from our own kitchen. The other Pasta came with a tomato-Sauce that looked and tasted like right out of a tin-can without any character or love. Even the spinach salad was overladen with undefinable grated cheese?! There was absolutely nothin enjoyable about the meal.
I will never dine in there again. It took forever for someone to take my order. This was dinner time.The waiter had his mask half way up with his nose out. The food was cold when it was brought out to us at first. And when we ordered pizza it was sloppy done job.
Not sure if going for a 2 person dinner would work. We were there recently at night for a small birthday celebration, maybe 25 people max. Food had barely any taste, boiled and overpriced. Never eaten so bad in Santa Monica for the last 17 years. Everyone was disappointed with the food. Place was picked because of long memories but they didnt remotely live up to it.
Let me tell you coming back here for a pizza and garlic bread sparked alot of notalgia as a child the quality of the pizza and ingredients are as fresh as ever before the flavoring of the pizza was more than perfect and tasted the same heating up on a pan the next day this spot is full of comforting quality food that I love and the interior is homey
Earth, Wind & Flour certainly does focus on the best of Italian food and it’s quality. The pizzas, breads and the lasagnas are delicious. The waitress that served us on the evening of January 28th, which was on a Friday night was extremely insensitive to my dad’s needs regarding two slices of tomato for his hamburger. She had an attitude about that’s how tomatoes are. But other than that, we will be back and hopefully a gluten-free lasagna without meat will be available. Keep up the good work.

Groupon can only be used on outdoor dining. No indoor or take out/pick up. Would have been great. Had to pay $40 for a pizza and small salad. Tough to do in times like this
No frills Italian spot for dependable pasta
#1 for pizzas and sandwiches and salads. We always go there for takeout. The house pizza has been our favorite EWF pizza and is still the best pizza we ever liked. Best scallapini of them all. Chicken parmesean sub and steak sub still on the top. House salad is still the best. Strongly recommended for pizza, sandwiches and salads. Amazing staff.
