We had a tough experience this weekend. They were nice and tried their best to make up for the mistakes but they were pretty bad mistakes. Mixed up orders, had a lot of standard items on the menu that they were out of, and very slow.
We had to call someone to assign us a waitress after we were seated for 15 mins. Waitress forgot to put out appetizers in , an hour since we sat down and all we had were our drinks,. My dadâs steak was rare instead of medium they took it back to cook again and food took way to long to come out. We were seated at 3 and were not eating until 4:30. My sisters food came 10 mins after ours so we waited to start. It was also not that busy. Waitress was very nice though but it was my dads birthday and preferred he had a better experience on his special day. Other tables did not wait as long for their food, we were a table of 8 though.
Although we had a reservation, i had to remind the supervisor that we havenât been seated yet. We were seated about 15 minutes late. The hostess even said I thought I knew I have to seat you. Our waitress didnât do a good job. I asked for pink lemonade and she gave me a regular lemonade. She said they were out of pink lemonade but she never gave me the option of ordering a different drink. I also asked for iced water and she gave me water with no ice.Food was good but service is like amateurs.

Review for Del Friscoâs Santa Monica. We had a dinner reservation and requested indoor seating. When we got there, the staff was setting up our table. They were ready to take us to the table, then the hostess switched our table to give it to someone else and told the staff member to set us up a different table. The only other table they had available was outdoor elevated seating. It was very loud and too much stimuli. I complained and told the hostess that we had requested an indoor table. She told me she had no such request on her end, but obviously she was lying. Food wasnât great, didnât taste fresh. My filet steak was chewy and slimy. We have been to this location many times, but doesnât seem like weâll be back.

Waitstaff/Hostesses not attentive but location makes this a 3. Food met expectations.
