Nice beach vibe. clean and classy. the staff was good. menu had good choices. your wallet will get thinner very quickly.
When I made the reservation to dine here I requested to be seated outdoors, I arrived at my designated time and was told it would be several minutes to be seated outdoors. I waited and was seated in the patio, but told the hostess that I would prefer to sit on the boardwalk side of the outdoor area. She said that I needed to stipulate that when making my reservation. I suggested that there was no where to ask specifically for that area--it just said indoor or outdoor. She said there is a 30 minute wait for that area. We were finally seated in the patio area which we did not like. It was hot and there was no breeze. So we asked to be seated indoors where there was a lovely breeze from the beach. She complied. Our server was friendly and efficient. Our luncheon orders were good, albiet a little pricey.

Disappointing and more downmarket than expected. Highlights were dessert (rhubarb crumble) and excellent service.
The worst salad I've ever had! Coast USED to be my favorite go -to restaurant. Now, I will never go back! It's gone so downhill, it's despicable. The view isn't worth the outrageously overpriced food, untrained wait staff and inexcusably poor service. You can get that at a crappy cafe on the Pier for 1/4 the price! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Lovely food but service very poor for American standards
Sat out on the promenade as the sun set. Had the oysters, steak,mussels catch of the day and pork. All very good - portions for us were perfectly adequate. I would stear clear of the puddings unless you have an exceptional sweet tooth.
Relaxed elegance with excellent service right by the boardwalk with a stunning ocean view. The hostess, a Black woman whose name I did not get, was gracious and welcoming, our server was attentive, and the food was delicious.
