Great place for a tasty meal. Warm and attentive staff. Very clean and well decorated space. Definitely recommend to others.
Finally an authentic Indian vegetarian menu with plenty of choices at the good price! Nice waiter, vintage style half circle booths with comfy & private couches, food yummy, yet plain though some great variety of dishes that you don’t usually find even in more classy Indian restaurant like Aloh Paratha to die for, Papadum or Mint Lassi! Impressive :) loved it :)Pity to see this place which be with a bit of investment, can be turned into an authentic vegetarian Jewel in the middle of Santa Monica.(To work on: interior, graphic design menue & ambience: no curtain on the curtain road, a bit too loud music, handwritten signs hanging on the wall: it’s ok to have that ‘home-made’ level in Indian province, but in West of LA? Diluted Mango lassi was a bit disappointing - but it balanced out deliciously - cooked food)Despite that, the attentive sweet waiter was calm, very friendly; he allowed us to do a dish modification and explained the differences to my partner, although he was the only one working the shift, and at first gave the preference of attention to the delivery drivers picking up orders instead of taking care of guest ready who haven’t order and we’re ready to start spending money.Good luck guys, I really wish this cute place could be upgraded. The visit totally worth the price:$20 Thali in authentic metallic set with the yummiest Garlic Naan., $5 for 2x of Delicious Samosa! Ask for Salt. Other dishes cost $13 each in average. We’ve been very full!Overall - I took their business card to order for home in the future. If you don’t mind the ambience and looking for a great authentic Indian - order spicy and you’ll get great deal!

Most delicious vegetarian food and the nicest people! Definitely try the Khumb curry (stew with mushrooms and peas) and the Tikka Masala with Paneer (tofu like cheese).
In the reviews people were mentioning buffet style lunch, on their website it was saying 4 entries + drink+ bread 13 dollars. so i didn't know which was one was correct and I went to that place. food was ok, however the sizes are VERY SMALL! it's the same like dinner on a plane! i just wanted to have a little bit more of a dish since the sizes were very small, they refused!! come on you won't get bankrupt for handing out an extra dish!! 15 dollars for plane dinner is too much! because of 'covid' they don't have buffet style anymore. i think thats a lie. because through the new system, paying for every single item, they make much more money than buffet style. we customers are NOT silly.
All vegetarian and lots of vegan options
Very bad Indian food; practically tasteless. Kids who come to US from India for school make better food than this. We ordered dal, papdi chat, shahi paneer and chana and everything except shahi paneer was bland. Don’t recommend.
We ordered food last night for the first time and it taste very bad. In curry there was no flavor except raw flavor of onion and garlic. It tasted horrible. We also ordered rice biryani in which all the vegetables tasted raw. It seems like they just mix every thing and serve, don't cook. I don't know if they serve rice with curry or not but there was no rice with any of the curry. Half of the order is still untouched but I don't have any hopes with that as well. I would rather give rating in negative. We choose this place based on good review given by other people but our first experience was horrible.
We went in with great expectation looking at the ambience . Zero crowd , food was not tasty. Mango lassi had more water than actual lassi. However , staff was good and polite.
We ordered aloo and gobi paratha but was served aloo kulcha. When we informed about this , initially we were told that it’s paratha but when we didn’t agree then he went back and came back confessing that they served kulcha... . Worst of all, he said they will charge fully to us( meaning they don’t care even if they served wrong dish ).
