My wife and I had a lovely dinner here while staying next door at Shutters at the Beach. We were told they just re-opened after Covid so you never know what the experience would be like. The under-the-radar luxury hotel Casa Del Mar is a lovely 20’s era hotel with a beautiful entry and ocean front lounge and restaurant. The crowds have not yet re-discovered this gem. Our dinner was beautifully prepared and the ingredients were the best. Presentations of the dishes were exceptional. Catch specializes in seafood with an emphasis on sushi and Japanese style dishes. Our table overlooked the Ocean Walk and the Santa Monica beach with the pier in the background. Really lovely experience.
Thé dish arrangement is not very good. Cocktails, sea food plate and desert are disappointing. Service is great, staffs are very friendly.
Very nice hotel and view. Food was not great, and even worse given the cost. You are certainly paying for the view. The service was very good.
