Decent food, horrendous service.Arrived with a party of six for my birthday for an inside reservation. One of my party members had a service dog. The hostess and manager stated the dog could not come inside the establishment, in clear violation of ADA. They then placed us outside on the patio. It didn’t end there. My friend had ordered a White Russian which was poorly made. The server was nonchalant and didn’t care to offer an alternative. The heat cut off and we had to ask FIVE TIMES for someone to turn it back on. We were not offered a dessert menu and were rushed out of the establishment. The service is not worth the price, quite the opposite actually.Edit: Any establishment who prides itself in service would never respond to a client accusing them of events that never occurred; that is insanity. If you read the reviews of their response to others, you’ll see a pattern of pompous pretentiousness. Whoever is responding to these reviews needs serious customer service training and etiquette. Never have I been treated so poorly in my life. Good thing my groups and my credit card offer purchase protection which covers poor service as a reason for dispute. Truly unbelievable.
Had dinner at Cassia and. frankly, it was a dissapointment. Unless you used the sauce provided with the dishes the food was bland, but with the sauces, too spicy. And, it isn't cheap- a small sea bass was $47. Plus they tack on a 4% charge to cover the employee's health care costs. At these prices, ($150 for 3 dishes and 2 beers), can't the management afford to include the health care? And, the place is noisy, the service just okay. Won't eat here again!
Amazing SE Asian cuisine for the area!Drinks complemented our dishes and some of our favorite dishes were the beef Rendang, and Vietnamese Prawns!Probably the fanciest sweet potato dish I've ever had served, and it was unfortunate they were out of the Dan Dan noodles!Definitely have to come back for that dish specifically.Service was great as well, for the outside patio is completely covered with heat lamps and throw blankets available for those who get cold easily but want the Al fresca dining experience.
First my girlfriend and I were greeted by a warm smile by Lisa at the host stand - which really set the tone for the whole night. Our server, Alex was very knowledgable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. We ordered the Cesar salad, wontons, chickpea curry for starters; lamb breast, flattened half chicken for mains and red bean ice cream for dessert. Admittedly we probably over-ordered, but nevertheless the food was AMAZING. Also, honorable mention to Abel who was so aware/attentive of everything going on logistically at the table from start-to-finish. Also (number two), the drinks were phenomenal - craft cocktails highly recommended, our compliments to the bar tender. Thank you Cassia for an amazing evening!
Another place where they encourage you in ordering and sharing the different dishes but: Firstly most of the dishes we wanted were sold out (that on top of the 2 that we were told were sold out); The table did not accommodate the quantity of dishes arriving so we had to rush our way trough piles of food; The wine was almost forgotten on the side so we had either to get it or ask someone to pour it; Rather noisy! Not for me…
We had a reservation and we’re still asked to wait while a minimum of 4 tables were seated ahead of us. It did not appear that all had reservations. The food was absolutely wonderful. We loved every dish. The whole sea bas, Dan Dan noodles(you can do without duck) the ravioli, Chinese broccoli, cauliflower…. We over ordered but there was not one dish we would not order again.
Had a wonderful early, mid-week dinner with my husband. He was very happy that there was a good alcohol-free beer option. I had the Smoke Show cocktail which had tremendous depth. We devoured the garbanzo dip with fresh naan-like bread and the Asian Caesar salad made just right with light dressing and cheese on the side for hubby. Sweet potatoes were very flavorful as was the whole bass. Would easily repeat the order again next time we go!
I’m not sure this place isn’t 4.5+ stars, the food and atmosphere here is absolutely amazing! Loved every single dish here, especially the grilled spicy lamb - that is a must! The raw scallops were also delicious. Will say it is on the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth it and won’t knock down a star for it. Would come back again!
Huge portions, very spicy even if you love spicy. Service was mechanic and non descript, too quick. A bit overpriced for what it offers.
The food and service were great! If you want to order just one thing, go for the Charcuterie Fried Rice, it’s the most interesting and tasty fried rice I’ve had. The sea bass is also a great option. For drinks, we ordered the Thai basil margaritas and they were delicious !!!
