Very uncomfortable dining experience at Casa Martin. I’m not the type to leave reviews but this was worth noting.. Right when we sat down we could tell our waitress wasn’t having it. We definitely weren’t taken care of here and felt on edge and even nervous to ask our waitress for something. She only had our two top and one other table but she devoted all of her time to the other table making them feel comfortable. Meanwhile, we felt very unwelcome she never asked if we needed anything etc.. we had to ask for a water refill and another salsa twice and she never came back with it so we had to ask one of the other servers.While ordering I wanted to know the difference between the red and green salsa on their “wet” burrito.. she looked at me and said “well one is RED and one is GREEN”.. I felt like I was in trouble for asking lol. (I know they are prepared and spiced differently) I feel like she should’ve asked since she clearly didn’t know the answer.There’s automatically an 18% gratuity added to the check, which we thought was completely unfair with how we were served.Anyways moral of the story we felt super uncomfortable, which is sad because the other servers seemed really nice. But the food was great! The wet burritos are huge I wish we would’ve known because we definitely would’ve split.
Went after 3 years of no travel and they are just as friendly and accommodating! The food is great! Served fairly quickly and large portions!
We ended our last evening in LA at Casa Martin in Santa Monica. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly. It was a great way to end our trip. The guacamole was some of the best, and the carnitas were incredible.
Soooo, we just came here in September of 2021 and we wanted to go back again..We both ordered different food and loved both meals....I got this super yummy Vegetable Burrito with rice, black beans an awesome Verde sauce and then a secret sauce, drizzled on top...It came with a small side salad, but remember to ask for dressing or it arrives naked.The Honey got some baked chicken dish with: Rice, Guac, Pico, Refried Beans and topped with a seared Jalapeno..We both loved the tastes and the portions were perfect.Of course we shared a Margherita cause we didn't need to spend another $18 Bucks...lolNice vibe.The BARTENDER is awesome!!!If your meal is sitting for more than 20 seconds, he delivers it to your table.This place is a well-oiled engine!!!Go and try.The Nachos looked SUPERB, btw!!!
The staff of Casa Martin is beyond wonderful! Especially Rodrigo who is the most incredible server. Request him!! Also the food is out of this world. Order the shrimp quesadilla and the nachos!!!!! I would recommend to this place to anyone looking for amazing authentic mexican food and great vibes!!!!
This was an excellent Mexican Food restaurant. I loved everything from the service to the delicious food.We tried the nachos with chicken. They were tasty and the chicken was tender and savory. The guacamole was good as well.We had beef enchiladas. They weren't our favorite because the meat was shredded beef instead of ground beef.They prices were pretty high.Overall the service was excellent and the food was great.

Fast, efficient and super friendly. Good Chile Verde burrito. A bit on the expensive side, but otherwise great.
Our waitress was rude and couldn’t wait to get home. Two of us walked in around 8:30, left at 9:15 (they close at 10) and the waitress was visibly annoyed throughout our entire time there. They began shutting lights and TVs off well before closing. The margarita was decent but experience was not.
