Amazing coffee, unacceptably and painfully slow. We walked into the store and there was one person in line ahead of us and a few people waiting for their coffee. It took approximately 7 minutes to get to the front to order and then another 18 minutes to get our coffee after that. We had ordered a waffle, which they make from scratch and that's cool, but they didn't actually start making it until after serving us our coffee so we were there for another 5 minutes waiting on that. I love the coffee at blue bottle but wow that was slow.

I love Blue Bottle and I've been to so many other locations. I love the almost office lobby vibe and feel it has to it. This location is great, right next to the beach and close to the promenade, however, parking is an issue and will cost you more than getting 2 large coffees at the location hahaha.
This is my favorite coffee spot in Santa Monica. It has the best lighting, the best coffee, and the coolest people (both customers and baristas). I love coffee, and I don't mind some of the other places in Santa Monica, but this spot is definitely my number one in town.

Their coffee is great. Their service, however, is not so much. Not that the staff is rude (they’re not), but you can tell they want you to take your coffee and scram. Here’s one experience I’ll share: I once ordered and sat outside since they weren’t allowing in-door seating. The tables were so uncomfortable I had to leave my coffee there (as a sign of objection) and went to Philz Coffee (located few steps next to them) where I ordered new great coffee and enjoyed every sip in a more friendly environment and a more comfortable seating.I wish them good though. Their coffee is good if you only care about that.
