I liked the mahi fish tacos.
Clam plate, Fred fish Tocco and quesadsilla! It was to go order! the Tocco and quesadsilla were fine but frid clam was totally awful; over frid and dry (to be honest, we did not eat it)
Good location and that’s about it. Bad service from staff. The fish and chips we ordered was not very good. It all looked frozen. We visited on someone’s recommendation but we would not recommend it to others.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Super friendly staff. Food was great including a good selection of choices. Location tough to beat-right at the end of the pier and great views. And shockingly reasonable in pricing, especially given the location. Tall beers from local breweries. Great choice for lunch or dinner.
Delicious burgers!! ?? Really enjoyed the ambiance; staff was really nice and attentive too. Not to mention the great large cup sizes they have for the beer! (Just wish it wasn’t plastic cups). I will definitely be coming back again! ?
I've been going to Dean's for at least five years. Doesn't matter if it's busy or not the staff manages to take care of everyone. Great beach food, chicken tacos, fish tacos, and burgers are my favorites. Prices are amazing considering the location.

Large bar in great location, at the base of Santa Monica Pier. Good selection of craft beers and liquors. Nice outdoor seating area with perimeter fencing.My only gripe is the plastic containers, rather than glass. Alcohol is not allowed beyond the perimeter, so glass poses no threat or danger to others. I personally really dislike drinking out of plastic, plus it can never be as environmentally-friendly as glass.Nevertheless, good beer, good music, friendly staff; would return!
I had a great time here! It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the ocean breeze. Good vibes and good food and good beers!I tried the nachos, garden burger and fries! The garden burger was super delicious! They also have beyond burger. But other than that they are short of vegetarian items on their menu. I wish they would have at least one vegetarian taco item and one other vegetarian item.Other than that I perfectly enjoyed this place.
Had the full order fish and chips- very mediocre. Nothing at all special about the place or view. Service was not great either. Wouldn’t return.
