Food is very unique and different. It was good, but it's not for everyone. In fact I think that's it's biggest issue, it doesn't cater to the mass majority. Also portions are quite small for the price you pay. I didn't like the fact you order and pay the way you do. And the double store front is odd. It's a cute place and I think it's better for lunch than dinner. Something I'd try but not something I'm dying to go back to. I think they also need some cool cocktails.
Fresh, wholesome, tasty, pure food made with love and skill! The quality and freshness of the food was top quality!
Stumbled upon this gem while walking in Santa Monica beach area. The chef has created very unique fusion of Ethiopian and Mexican flavors while keeping it fully plant based. The service is outstanding and food is extremely high quality made with lot of thought (example: Teff Injera where teff is soaked and fermented). One of the best places I have ever been and highly recommend it. Wish they could open their branch in SF Bay Area.
If I could, I would eat breakfast here every day for the rest of my life. We had the tofu scramble, burrito and vitamin juices. Seasoning was just perfect and my husband who can be tofu-averse, gobbled up his portion and all I got was one bite.I highly recommended the garbanzos, simply an outstanding dish.
Incredible vegan food by passionate people. Dessert was one of the kind and heavenly. Not meat knock offs. Vegan food made how it is meant to be
A great place to come and do some work and of course over some sliders. Highly recommended.
I am not a big fan of vegan food and walked in to this restaurant without realizing they serve only vegan food. Boy, this dish #eattherainbow is sooooo good. I will not hesitate to go for vegan food after tasting this. Great place close to the Santa Monica pier.
I’m originally from Sr Lanka n now live in Tampa - FL. Came to Los Angeles for the first time n found this place while searching a place to eat. I have tried Ethiopian food several times in Tampa. Their food is bit similar to Sri Lankan food. Specially the Dhal Curry. Ordered “Eat The Rainbow” n it was super delicious … We went there around 10:30 am but they arranged us lunch. I’m so grateful for them for it. 5 starts for the service n also for the food … Love this place n food …
Delicious, fresh food. Proper plant based cuisine and options that leverages taste of greens instead of providing meat or animal based food alternatives.Easy access. Paid parking on the street.
It's nice place to eat the food is tasty! The people work there are friendly
