I am always on the lookout for the best places to enjoy lunch and dinner with customers, friends and family. I look for places that are not your cookie cutter run of the mill restaurants, Well that is this place, one of my new favorites, and truly one of the best places in town to enjoy. If you come here and can not enjoy/appreciate the taste of this amazing food well you better go to the Dr as your taste buds may need to be tested. If you come to this place and don’t feel totally relaxed, Maybe you should seek counseling as your too up tight, shoot get a beer and relax, as you need to open your mind to what a true authentic place to decompress and enjoy your inner foodie is. I highly recommend TSBK. Signed by a guy that loves good food and don’t pass out free undeserving reviews. This will be your new spot! Enjoy!
This is the fourth time we have stopped in for lunch and we have always enjoyed ourselves. The menu is wide and deep with something for everyone including a lot of different beers on tap.The restaurant is clean and well lit , you can eat inside or out. Service and the food has not disappointed us yet and have had a few things that were very good. I would eat here again.
One of my favorite Orcutt restaurants. I haven’t had the same thing twice and it’s been delicious every time. Very fresh and well-plated. Nice beer selection and Chef has a great menu.
This was the second time here. Both times I had a hard time deciding what to get. It all looked wonderful. The first time I had the Ahi tacos and I just had their Poke bowl. My wife had the potatoes leek bisque and citrus Mahi Mahi sandwich. All the food was FABULOUS!Indoor seating and a small patio seating available.I am coming back.
I have wanted to try this place for 6 months. Finally got there and it did not disappoint! We were ready for a quick lunch out on the patio. Great beer selection and the best burger ever!
A friend and I had an enjoyable lunch there. He went the extra mile to go get her some chopsticks for her meal and even offered to make up a side of kimchi for me to take home! It was delicious! Thanks for taking such great care of your customers! Plus I love the variety of food options! I used to live aboard and this is one of few places that offers a similar variety to what I was used to in Europe but with its own twist! Love it!
The food is delectable! We came for date night and had a great time. Service is fast and friendly. Chef Mike is a delight. We recommend the Moroccan cauliflower (delicious and not spicy), Brigade burger (Add avocado), fish & chips, and don't forget the Steak Frites! I'll be back for the Creme Brule Cheesecake!
Certainly a must-go-to place in Santa Maria. This is the real deal. Probably this is, currently, the most cutting-edge restaurant in Santa Maria. You can only wish you had Chef Mike's resume. Yeah it's in a strip mall, but a nice new one. All levels of dining. patio, inside tables, and bar seating. Diverse eclectic menu. Well worth it !!
So, let's start with the positives. It is a nice chic restaurant, I really enjoyed the industrial urban decor and atmosphere. In particular the witty bathroom sign reminding people that, regardless of who you are, it is of utmost importance to keep proper personal hygiene. Especially during this pandemic. That being said, the food was not all I expected it to be. Especially for the price. While the presentation was great and made the food rather appetizing. However, the food wasn't as tasty as it should have been. Especially for the price. We had the Local Burger with fries and the Grilled Herb Chicken Focaccia with house made potato chips. The chicken focaccia was good; however, the chicken meat barely filled half of the sandwich bread and the so called "secret spread" it was simply mayonnaise. The burger was even worse. The patty was undercooked (we ordered medium and we barely got it medium rare), thus the bun became so soggy, it was falling apart even before the first bite.I do gotta say that the french fries and the house made potato chips were rather good. Even though the sides and the chicken sandwich were good, they were not worth the price of the meal. $16 for the burger plus $4 for avocado and $14 for the chicken sandwich. This was our first visit and I am not going to dismiss this restaurant after just one visit; we will go back and give it another try. However, the food is not something that has me excited to go back any time soon.
My wife and I ate there for lunch and again for dinner this weekend. Chef Mike does a wonderful job creating a delicious menu. This is definitely our go to when we are in the mood for a dinner out or a nice lunch. A restaurant this area has desperately needed.
