This place says open till 9pm, we arrived at 8.40 and checking in the look on 3 female waitresses faces was shocking! Felt like a hindrance! The food was actually quite good, I had sirloin steak, steak fries and salad and my wife had a huge veggie salad which she said was good. Half way through our meal a young man appeared with a mop and bucket and started to mop the floor only feet away from our table, the stench of bleach was overpowering and totally ruined our meal! On complaining to our waitress she actually started to defend him saying he had his job to do! Unbelievable!! Would not recommend this place if you show up within 20 minutes of last orders! They want you out and don’t they just show it!!
This place is the real deal for fresh steak and seafood! The steaks are heaven on earth, they’re aged to perfection and grilled just the way you like it! The service is 5 stars, you never have to think about an empty drink or dish, they are so fast! The relish tray is most excellent and it has such a wonderful atmosphere inside. Definitely am original steakhouse, highly recommend you try it!
Visited this restaurant on a fluke, just driving through town. We ordered the tri tip and linguica plate, tri tip sandwich, and nuggets for the little one, with all of the fixins; veggie appetizer plate, salsa, baked potato, fries, cole slaw, piquinto beans, and garlic bread. The beef was tender and juicy. The linguica was flavorful and perfectly spiced. The nuggets were real chicken breast. The portions were large and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly from the moment we stepped in, throughout our dining experience, and even while we were leaving. You must try the chipotle sauce!
Comfortable dinning atmosphere with dim lighting. Tasteful aged feel. Service very professional, timely and accommodating. Steak, perfection! Rotating daily specials and desserts. Bathrooms, very clean, well stocked, air blade only, no paper towels. Not sure if they have AC, but high ceiling and fans kept us comfortable even though it was 80° outside. Easily to miss due to location. Small shared parking lot.
Wonderful meal! 10 oz NY steak...very nice, premium cut of beef. They give each entree a healthy relish dish. The bartender said their tri-tip sandwich is amazing. Can't wait to come back.
Tri tip with a baked potato was on point! I added some sausage which was the special for tonight. Food was great, restaurant was clean. I would not get the extra sausage next time, it was good, but the amount of food was just too much.
We heard about Shaw's from our Hotel manager nearby. Both of us ordered steaks on the regular menu, even though we were there before Happy Hour ended. Hostess was friendly, our waitress was terrific, a transplant from Sonoma County. She was upbeat, bubbly, informative, but above all a super nice lady. An appetizer arrived, full of veggies pickles, olives, etc. I ordered the clam chowder, my wife had the salad, both big and very good. Next came the main course, with beans, garlic bread, and both got the baked potato, with everything. The meat was excellent, service excellent, ambiance very good. A great find, we will be back
Overpriced! The food was very good, just overpriced. I regret not leaving when I saw the menu prices. I guess I stayed because I was too tired to go somewhere else.
We arrived at 6:30 and was told there was a 30 minute wait which is normal on a Friday night. The first problem came when the hostess sat us at a table clearly meant for 4 maybe 5 and there were seven people (6 adults 1 high chair) in our party. We were sitting on top of one another. We asked for a larger table and they did finally move us. It took the waitress 15-20 minutes to come and take our order. We asked if the grilled cheese sandwich for our baby be brought out ASAP. We waited 1:20 for our food. They did not bring the child’s plate until that time also. We had repeatedly asked the waitress for the child’s sandwich. When the food came out it was not hot just slightly warm. The butter would not melt on the baked potato. It was as if the steaks had been sitting under the warmer light but were not brought out to the party for some time. My husband received the wrong order and the waitress argued with him about what he ordered. They did offer get him the correct steak but after waiting for 1:30 for food that was not an option. Never were we offered compensation for our experience. I will never return.
