Everything was so good: Service, food and price. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box. Large portion of food and love the variety in it.Only one negative in the overall experience. Sensory overload with rapp/hip hop playing (which I can't stand) and then they turned on the TV which was also loud. TV or 'music', but definitely not both.

Tried to add more stuff to our tab then what we had and when I questioned them, I got a snarly comment from our server that it was only "$30" why would we pay $30 more than what we didn't even eat? Ridiculous, not coming back... horrible service and food isn't that great.
Waiters forgot our appetizers and parts of what we ordered. We had to remind them 3 times our order included miso soup. I got the tonkotsu ramen and it had one small piece of pork in it, the broth was very bland. We wont be going back.
I ordered take out, they told me 10- 15 minutes, i asked if i could sit outside and wait, sure they said. I waited 35 minutes and wanted to see when it would be ready. Well it was sitting there at the front counter already and who knows how long. when i got back to the hotel 2 miles away it was cold. Obviously it was sitting there for sometime and not once did they think to let me know. I won't be back. They were not that busy either
Food is great, but service has been poor lately. The restaurant gets way too many To-Go orders to keep up with, which results in poor service to indoor customers who’ve waited 45 min or more from when they initially ordered their food.
Favorite place in Santa Maria to get sushi and chicken teriyaki. Always a beautiful presentation, so fresh and delicious every time. Love it.
I ordered online and got notification that my order is ready but when I went to pick my food I had to wait 40 mins lmao, I’m wondering why do they lie with customers
Hosts don’t know how to seat people. We were told to sit at an open seat, then we’re asked to move twice after finding an open table for our party size, and then we’re told to get up and wait 10-15 minutes for a table. Two walk in parties (not reservations) of the same size were seated right away before us, and a party right after us of the same size was seated at the table we were asked to move from. They may have had a reservation, but it’s poor service to ask people who are seated to move, especially for a party that came in after, and especially because we had already sat after being told to seat ourselves at an open table. Food might be good, but the hosts were rude and the seating practices were unsanitary.
Spent over $60 of sushi and only got two spicy Mayo asked for two more and the man made a comment I have to pay extra. Ridiculous
