Acclaimed by people in the community as the best Mexican restaurant In the northern part of Santa Maria, the food stood up to its reputation and the staff was exceptional. With the restaurant at least ¾ of its capacity, staff kept customers content, served food quickly and all had a good time. I loved the spicy salsa, so happy to find a Mexican restaurant that actually has HOT salsa. When the server brought chips and salsa, I asked if it was the hottest. She came back to the table with a salsa that was hotter; before my meal was served, she brought another dish that was even hotter. Not flaming hot, yet comfortably hotter than the others. My food was quite spicy and there were five other bottled sauces on the table, two I recognized and three that were new to me. I tasted the three new ones and added some to my meal. For truly authentic Mexican food and surroundings, not just glitzy authentic, this is the place to go.

Wow this place is amazing. Small restaurant but lots of authentic Mexican food. I had the fried mojara was amazing. So crispy everywhere. Beans and rice so good. The chips and salsa they give you at the beginning just right. Has heat but not to much were you can't taste the food. I had a michelada too. On point. If you ever wanna eat real authentic Mexican food come here. Will definitely be back
We stopped by chance to eat lunch through our drive to Big Sur. The food is delicious, including the chips and salsa. They just need to organize a little in the serving as the waitresses are all over the place. The place was really busy, a sign that is good. It was worth it.
We drove from Pismo to Santa Maria for authentic Mexican food, and we got it. I Yelped this place. It was really gooood. Mojo de ajo. Good. Bistek Ranchero good. Enchiladas good. Rice and beans were good. This place was so delicious. A couple of guys pulled out their Guitars played and sang. Very nice. I will be back when in that area. It's so hard to find a good Mexican Restaurant. I was spoiled with my mother's cooking. She had 2 Restaurants. Very Authentic...My hat's off the the owner.Gracias.

Great, authentic food. Good service. A little hard to find but worth the trip.
Sub-par food plus over priced. Had carry-out meals. Had the number 106 & 139 items. Just plain boring. Square chunks of meat with no flavor with some kind of tomato sauce. I wouldn't call it sauce but they do. Wouldn't order these items again. My recommendation- save you money.
Other favorable reviews did not lead us astray! Food was delicious. Outdoor tent for open air dining. Service was lovely and hospitable! The soup was yummy… salsa delectable… I had shrimp enchiladas and they were fabulous! Fish tacos incredible too. Go find the place, it is worth it!
