After a fun morning at the beach we decided to eat at Woodies Cafe. We had the fish & chips, seafood pasta, clam chowder, and a crab cake sandwich and all of it was delicious. We would definitely recommend eating at Woodies.

After walking the Boardwalk and the Pier, we opted for lunch at Woodies. The salmon was moist and delicious. I was happy with it. My husband opted for the chicken sandwich, which was very dry - - he was unable to finish it. Service was quite slow, so be prepared for a wait. But, the sea otters swimming in the Bay helped pass the time.

Went here on Memorial Day weekend looking for a place to have early dinner and a view of the ocean. Every other restaurant on the pier had a 1 hour wait so I walked into Woodies and saw many empty tables overlooking the ocean. Great food and cafe like atmosphere. Probably the best kept secret in Santa Cruz. Amazing margaritas, bread bowl with clam chowder, fish and chips, great for kids and adults.

Food was not worth what we paid, offered cocktails but when we ordered said they weren't serving and didn't offer explanation. We made a quick decision but wished we would have kept walking , plenty of other options. Calamari was good

Overall, Woodies Café was pretty good. They were busy and we waited a long time to get our food and I thought it was strange to pay over $20 for a plate and eat with plastic forks. The view was gorgeous.

Yummy. We love coming here. It's like a Santa cruz tradition for us. We came here many years ago and have returned plenty of times since. We love the food menu, and so do our kids. They love that the meals are served on Frisbees. Surfing themed good vibe great drinks. We will be back!

I was excited to try their half crab bake. Unfortunately it was flavorless and not very warm. I am disappointed especially after reading reviews that said it was out of this world…. Not so much…

Whet here for dinner with my wife. It was the absolutely worst seafood I have ever tried. Simply put they burnt everything the calamari was cooked in what taste like old grease. To the point of being uneatable. My wife went up and complained to the girl at the front counter and her reaction was ok I hear you. We will not be ever going back to woodies cafe and will not recommend it to anyone.

Burgers were delicious!! Fries were great! The view.. amazing!!! Requested they clean a table for us and they were right on it so we had an amazing view of the ocean! Thanks so much for the experience!

I wanted to like this place. Reviews were great and I was hoping it would be. However, the service was very rigid. I forgot my mask in the car and didn't realize it was mandatory at this establishment. I kindly asked the clerk if he had one I could have. He said no. He was going to refuse me service but I told him I would eat outside of course. He let me order and I ate outside. Grateful for that but when another gentleman came in with the same scenario, he kindly gave him a mask. He had masks all along to hand out if need be. I don't know why I didn't fit the criteria. So I ate outside. Yes I forgot my mask, no I wasn't refusing to wear one. The boardwalk was far from my vehicle and a disposable mask would have helped. Anyway. I felt discriminated. So with that said, the food was good. The clam chowder was very good, however I found peices of paper in it. Yes paper. I took it out and decided not to complain. Thats on me. It had already been an odd experience. So off I went
