Was served a wedge salad with spotted brown lettuce, inexperienced waiter had to be asked every time I wanted my water filled, noisy due to a kids summer camp yelling and running around at an otherwise beautiful serene venue.
Incredible evening on the patio, the view, the breeze, everything wonderful!

Kitchen had issues cooking the prime ribâeither way undercooked (rarer than rare) or over cooked. The other hot items were not being refreshed often enough. The dining room appeared understaffed. Weâve enjoyed previous brunches at the View. Today was an exception.
The service was slow, food was good although order came out wrong initially they corrected it . Restaurant has a nice view
Took our reservation for 12:45 for Fatherâs Day buffet but they closed the buffet at 1:30. Food was mediocre at best. Hot food was supposed to be hot but lukewarm to cold. Not sure how long the cook making omelette has been cooking by himself but showed the poor quality of omelette. Poor guy looked like he badly needed help. The food presentation around the time we got food looks like itâs been picked out and everything looks like leftovers. They did finally brought some fresh looking food but not tasty. Not worth the money and table presentation and quality
Weâve been to brunch at Chaminade many times, but now that itâs âThe Viewâ it was TERRIBLE. The food was bad (and cold), service was bad (and hardly anyone was working) and I donât think weâll be back. What a shame
I was so disappointed in our experience- I booked a reservation for Fatherâs Day so that my husband could enjoy a beautiful view and brunch. I had booked the reservation a month prior. When we arrived, we were seated in some sort of annex that had absolutely no view. When I asked to sit somewhere else I was told they didnât have any openings. The restaurant is called the THE VIEW. Then they were only serving a buffet which was ok but I had wanted my husband to have the option of ordering from the menu. They were very short staffed which is an issue everywhere so I do understand that.
We had a very special Fatherâs Day breakfast. It was our first time with our kids and we had a blast. The food was extremely tasty and the views were magnificent. Iâll definitely coming back soon
Loved the new additions to the menu. My halibut was fantastic and my husband's salmon was delicious.
