LOVE!!! One of my favorite sushi joints in Santa Cruz so far! Tried the Lion roll, dragon roll, and two others and all were so generous with their toppings/fillings. Everything tasted super fresh as well! Also loved the ambiance, and I was super stoked to see the amazing studio ghibli-inspired mural. Takeout was easy and was still in perfect shape after a car ride. So excited to come back and try some more rolls!
The delivery went quick, but everything was nightmare. No utensils, bad food quality, less say sauce and all of those roll crushed. I should have just ordered poke house.
The sushi here is soo good! They even gave me a free soup ? staff is friendly small place very cute! If you enjoy a good rich flavorful rolls this is the place to be!
Can I rate this restaurant with more than 5 Stars? The whole experience for me was fantastic!!! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted! We sat at the sushi bar and we were lucky enough to meet the owner Kenny! I also had the opportunity to experience awesome sushi by Josh! Our server Faith was also awesome as she stayed on top of our orders! I have been to many Sushi restaurants and boy let me tell you…this place is hands down the BEST I’ve had so far! We left most of our order up to the chef and everything he prepared was super delicious! My FAVE was the Sashimi! The next time I visit Santa Cruz, Sushi Totoro will be my first stop! The little hole in the wall with a HUGE heart!!!

this restaurant sucks. no only is the customer service awful, but we waited for over an hour for our takeout. the works have no respect and are overly irrable. never visit totoro, !!!!
Bad experience. Restaurant was empty except one couple at a table and one person at the bar. I waited for my food for 40 MINUTES. This is the second time I have experienced this long of a wait. Not only did the white kid behind the counter have an attitude but then I was told I was not allowed to sit inside while I wait in case “people come in” . The restaurant was empty. It was extremely rude and I have never been told to wait outside anywhere. Horrible customer service and horrible timeliness. Don’t waste your time here
Always delicious! I swear this is the only place in town that makes a Dragon Roll properly (love the tobiko). The environment is always chill and fun. A great sushi place if you're looking for a casual dining experience.
