I ordered The Fresco burger and fries. The sourdough on the burger was toasted perfectly. The fries were crispy and hot. The staff was very friendly. Great experience all around.
Mediocre food, but servers Joy and Sonia made the meal worthwhile. Great servers, that kept my glass full and conversation upbeat and interesting.
We spent a few days in Santa Cruz around thanksgiving and had gone to several restaurants during that time. We were told that the food was really great there, so we took a chance. We were not disappointed. We sat at the bar and had a few appetizers and everything we got was incredible. We also were told that the bartender (George) made a killer margarita. Thankfully, he was working that night and he made us his famous drink. So damned good!!!!
No cocktail menu. Bartender has a bad attitude! We stayed in their yucky, unfriendly staffed hotel and tried to have a drink here but no such fun luck.
Food is fantastic and the service is top notch! Try the Garden Sandwich (you can even add Bacon if you want)
Stayed at the Hilton Santa Cruz for a weekend getaway. The family and I chose to dine in to the restaurant for dinner. During covid they're only open for dinner. But they have a great menu. Everything was really delicious and I'm looking forward to our next day
Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the BLT w/avacado, both with side salads instead of fries etc. The chicken was dry and relatively flavorless. The BLTA was messy with butter on both sides of the toast and the bacon was limp and lacked flavor. HOWEVER - The side salads were exceptional. Service was so so, food was so so for the price.... definitely convenient to eat here if you're staying at the hotel (didn't wanna lose my parking spot by going to get food)...
For a hotel restaurant it has really good food!!! I've had to eat here quite a bit over the last couple of weeks due to work travel. So I've tried several dishes and they have all been good.
