California state law requires that dine-in restaurants provide restrooms for their customers, I'm not happy that so many Starbucks stores have switched over to no dine-in available and therefore do not make the restrooms available for their customers. It seems like Starbucks as a company has used the pandemic to turn many of their locations into a drive-thru and to go only business, which is never the business plan they were approved for when they created these shops.Starbucks, I'm asking you to get back to doing business as normal, the type of business you were approved for when you applied for a business license in each of your locations, a full-service coffee shop with dine in, and restrooms available.Other than that, the staff was friendly and not dismissive or demeaning like many other restaurants in the area when you ask for water. My coffee cup did come with a smashed rim which means the lid fell off while I was trying to handle the cup in my car. Don't serve coffee in cups that have the rim smashed because the lid will not stay on, and you guys are professional coffee servers, you should know this.Don't serve hot coffee and defective/damaged cups
Standard coffee chain location in a prime location in Santa Cruz on the way to beaches and down town. Great marks for parking, fast service, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Poor marks for no available bathroom and no seating indoors or outdoors. Spot could be improved by providing seating and restrooms for customers. The staff is friendly which is a plus! Would be nice to encourage customers to stay longer by having amenities!
NO DRIVE-THRU, NO DINE-IN: Despite Google Maps stating there's a drive-thru, there isn't. We chose this location from Google maps because we wanted to save time. Google maps also stated dine-in, but Starbucks removed all chairs and tables. And they used COVID-19 as an excuse to close the public restrooms, while most other Starbucks locations have long reopened their restrooms for general public.
It took 20 min to get an ice coffee and a impossible breakfast sandwich without cheese or eggs, which was made wrong aswell. Slow even with mobil orders and makes your orders wrong...
Worst starbucks I've been to. Made my drink wrong, ordered a panini and saw it sitting on the counter for over 10 minutes, and got my sisters order wrong twice. Ridiculous
Takes them a minute, even when they look empty. Good coffee. Better at java junction. Can't bring coffee into court, so bottoms up!
Never been to this location [ I don't live in S.C ] but Starbucks is always good. Got my free birthday drink of Chai Tea Latte with Chestnut Praline added. [ must have a registered card ] Yummo !!
Nice staff but my coffee took more than 10 minutes!!! bathroom is a disaster!!! You can tell a lot about the place from the bathroom…
Anorexic parking spots, beware! Expect door dings. Uncomfortably skinny, long tables centered in front of the cashiers. When a stranger sat directly across from me, touching knee to knee, I considered leaving. Music in there is far too loud, even for a Starbucks. Can't do zoom sessions here.
The service was pretty good. My barista was very helpful , knowledgeable and courteous.
