Kind hard working people here, I love that some of the staff faces I see in here are the same faces I see out in the community like at the kids after school programs etc! Perfect image of a good local family owned and operated business absolutely worth visiting whenever possible. BEST CHINESE FOOD IN TOWN!!!!!! Happy mothers day to all the mothers including myself who get to eat Shun feng today!!!!
I was at a cave party last night and this jerk, David, gave me some noodles and said it was worms, and it was worms, but when I threw it down, they were just noodles again. Then he gave me some rice and said they were maggots, and they were maggots, but when I threw them down it was just rice. Later, I drank some wine, but I don't think it was from this restaurant. If you see a weirdo with spiky hair and a long coat buying chinese food there you should avoid him. From what little I had of the food, it was good.I wish they were open later, though, because I'm kinda becoming a bit of a night owl.
Great food, nice service! I always love it when the waiters/waitresses give me a fork so I don’t have to tell them I’m to white to use chopsticks. But the chicken was crispy and delicious, they also gave us a generous serving of food!Love it!
Love the eggplant tofu and broccoli tofu! Only complaint is that it's pretty greasy and the flavors vary order to order.
Great atmosphere, and they give you so much of each dish you're guaranteed to have leftovers.
There was one female stuff being extremely rude. The other guy was nice. Food tastes like trash. They should be glad they are in Santa Cruz. Because they won’t even survive the ground opening if they are in Fremont.
One of the best Chinese restaurants to eat in Santa Cruz! ??
The food was very good. My wife was impressed that her garlic eggplant dish had eggplant with good color and shape, not just dark mushy blobs, a sign of an expert chef with skills. My son loved his salt and pepper fish; the deep-fried crispy fillets were thin and not overly battered. I could tell the fried rice that came with our lunch specials was made-to-order; it had a slight crispness and char, the way it should be if it was just spatulaed off a hot wok, instead of scooped from a warming tray like at Panda. The restaurant had nice traditional decor. I had a good laugh when they served us tea. All three tea cups were mismatched and were different sizes, like they were made for the three bears. Maybe they were...
They have great food, and amazing service. I'm from out of town and I was very impressed with everything I tried.
Place was delicious. We came during lunch and was not disappointed.
