great varied menu with something for everyone. quick and friendly service. delicious as always!
I got the post roast and when she put it on the table I immediately knew I ordered the wrong thing. My son from across the table had the same thought when he saw my food. My kids ordered breakfast food and enjoyed theirs. Service was great, though.
crappy food even for a diner at the same prices as a nice sit down restaurant. $4.31 for fountain drinks and an unexplained 5% "service fee" for a table of two. two average lunch menu items and two fountain drinks $45 before tip. ridiculous.
This was practically the last resort when all the restaurants we wanted to visit were either full, didn't have a public restroom or about to close down. About 20 minutes after we ordered our food the waiter informed us they only had two cooks, and it will be a while for our food to come out. By then the place was getting crowded. When the food finally came out, it was decent...it could have been worse I guess.
It was great! We were on a family trip and decided to stop by. Great service, food, atmosphere. Love the retro vibe. Didn't wait too long for our food either. Definitely check it out if your visiting near by.
I cannot say enough good about this place. My family and I came in from out of town for a couple of days and decided to give the diner a try. All 4 of us were blown away. 4 different dishes, 4 happy campers. So happy, in fact, we stopped again the following day for dinner. Servers are friendly and prices are extremely reasonable. Family friendly! Highly recommend this place to everyone!
Friendly staff nice diner atmosphere I ordered the Monterey Omelette and my husband ordered the California omelette. Great portions at reasonable price
Service here can be hit or miss, however it's pretty good overall. On the busier days, the servers can be a bit inattentive. Best times to eat here are definitely when it's slower. They have a huge menu with everything from classic diner food to pho. They have vegetarian/vegan options and I believe gluten free as well? You get large portions of food. Breakfast is served all day! Also great for take out! Always fun to read the different signs all over the interior. Classic Santa Cruz diner feel that's for sure!
