How good can an ice cream bar be? I didn't know the answer until I tried the dark chocolate caramel marshmallow ice cream bar at this place. Seriously impressed. If I could give 7 stars I would.
The ice cream bar with dark chocolate, nuts, and caramel was the best I have ever eaten! The owner was very friendly and gave us a candy sample. Definitely worth the visit.
Richard was fantastic in getting me some chocolates shipped. He packed them very carefully so they arrived in perfect condition despite the heat. Super delicious chocolate too with great caramel. Was able to get some great gifts and treats for myself thanks to Donnelly Chocolates!
We’ve been going to Donnelly Chocolates for years now (literally every time we are in Santa Cruz). Just when we thought they couldn’t beat their dark chocolate caramel bar, I tried the ice cream version and it was even better!!! This place is a must stop!
Amazing collection of chocolates. They allow samples before buying. They even gave us some extra samples. The service was good. Great experience. As milk chocolate lovers, we were very satisfied!
My partner & I were so impressed and really thought the ice cream bar was the best we've ever had. Nothing has compared! They are known for their chocolate, but I think the caramel is also the best in the world. You can't go wrong with this place- we also purchased a dark chocolate lavender bar, AMAZING! The owner was super nice and spoke to us for a bit. I've lived in this area for 3 years and had no idea this place was here. It is a must try!! ??

It's been a 2 weeks since I had Donnellys chocolate. I actually miss it and trying to find out if they sell their chocolate in San Jose area. I bought the chocolate bricks with orange, spear mint, sea salt caramel, peanut butter(the BEST!!) And almond. The flavor mixed with chocolate so well that makes me miss it. First time I ever want to go back for more chocolates. Thanks to their sign of top 10 chocolate in the world that lured my family and I into the shop.
We live on the East Coast, but my husband has been buying Donnelly Chocolates for me going on about 17 years now. There’s no comparison. Richard’s chocolates are the BEST!
