they usually have really good pizza, but when i went on june 7th of 2022, it was absolute garbage. The cheese was different than normal, thicker, and like rubber. The only part I ended up eating was the crust (which was still, as always, delicious). I am not sure why their cheese switched from normal, but I won't be going back until it switches back. Also, it has a very dirty feel to the restaurant and it looks very unclean.
I was sitting at Verve and I remembered passing by Pleasure Pizza on the way out of the nearby parking lot. We wanted a small lunch, so pizza by the slice was an easy option. I looked it up to check the reviews and, lo and behold, I saw a coworker left a good review for this place. That solidified going here. I am a creature of convenience. ?I got a slice of Board'n (pepperoni and mushrooms). Wow, they heated it nicely and the bottom was crispy and the sauce was just enough to be tasted, but not enough to make it a soggy mess. Can confirm there was a cheese pull. The slice was longer than my face!3.5 rounded down, because I found the crust was terribly boring. Couldn't get more than a small bite on it before I gave up. It was bland and didn't have much going on texturally. My friend who usually destroys pizzas shared the same sentiment.
I made an order for pickup at the Downtown Santa Cruz location through their website (which directs you to doordash). When I arrived, the manager on duty told me he refuses to work with doordash so even though I was charged, he won’t make the pizza. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. Be better, or at least fix your website if you don’t accept online orders. I’m out $25 now
This Pizza was amazing.The wifey doesn't even like pizza and she walked up to the counter for seconds. She said that the bread was really buttery and good and I will agree on that.You can order by the Slice or order a full one for the family.P.S. do the math because I believe it's a bit cheaper to order a full one depending on how many slices you are getting.

The pizza is very good, they have beer too. Large portions thin pizza with a thick crust.I love ❤️ ranch and they have some really good ranch.
I came in PPP on New Years Eve around 10pm. Pretty busy . Still plenty of room to sit down though. I had a couple of slices, too much, and pint of Hazy Lil IPA. There were plenty of slices to choose from. At least 6 different pizza options. Just what I wanted when I wanted it. ??
