I will say right upfront that the salsa is definitely not to my taste (others agreed with me…with that said, I highly recommend Olitas….a couple of the employees even said the salsa is hit or miss with people…the food was excellent (also huge portions) and the service is great…5 out of 5 in my book !!! Definitely will be back ??

Massive portions - order one dish for two people. More American style Mexican than authentic Mexican. Fun to watch the sea lions frolicking in the water out the windows. Very friendly service.
Located on the pier….good views as the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. The food was bland….I’ve had better food from taco trucks which was way cheaper….but I understand the price of the food accounts for the location. We had the shrimp and fish tacos….the only thing good was the rice and beans. Also their blender was broken so we couldn’t have a blended margarita which was ok but how do they only have one blender? Would I go back….nope….I would try a different restaurant as there are plenty to choose from on the pier.
One star for location and one for view. I highly recommend a margarita and then eat somewhere else. Without question the most disappointing meal I have ever had on the wharf. Crab cakes with zero crab and overpriced lack luster entrees that have zero taste. Really really bad all the way around.y badll the way around.
Josh was an amazing waiter who helped me order the burrito of my dreams.. perfect fold, cozy environment and friendly staff. Thanks for being open on Easter and serving us great food!
This place is garbage. The best thing there was my coke. My sons water had black stuff at the bottom of the glass. We spent 189.00 and nobody liked anything there. Only place that doesn't even know how to get nachos right. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money.
If I could give negative stars I would! NEVER have I ever been as racially profiled as my family and I were here. We came to Santa Cruz for my daughters prom and decided to get some dinner. It took them over 20 mins to seat us! Ok whatever it happens BUT first the young man that brought our waters to the table slammed every cup down in front of us! The waitress took our order brought our drinks but we NEVER received our food. The waitress came by our table once after we had been waiting over half an hour for our food to say (very generically and with a tone to her voice) your food will be out soon BUT it never came out! People all around us were coming and being served and leaving as we NEVER got our food! After waiting an hour and a half we got up and left! I can not believe how we were treated especially when it was supposed to be a good weekend celebrating my daughters prom. This started it off well! This is the worst place ever. We went down the street to eat somewhere else and got served in 10 minutes!

Nice quiet atmosphere, kind and happy waitress, good food, nice view in front of the ocean. Good prices. Highly recommended.Hard to find parking lot, go early , you have to pay though. Restaurant opens at 12 noon.
