I have to visit this place every time I come to Santa Cruz. The rolls are extremely tasty, and much simpler than many sushi spots (no deep fried rolls here).I recommend the Sunrise!

Excellent service and good sushi. Interesting combinations in the rolls. But I have noticed that the prices have gone up and the portions have gone down.

Delicious sushi. I normally only eat a little of sashimi, but it was excellent on my last visit.
Our first time at this location 5 minutes ago. The host at the front store just looked at us for 2 minutes without acknowledging us, or at least greeting us...she walked to the kitchen, spoke with couple ladies, came back to us literally told us they can't serve us food will take longer to be served if we want to be seated. We asked if we can order to go, lady responded it will take longer.This was our first time in Santa Cruz and our first time at this location. Staff were literally rude and unprofessional. I never recommend this place.
Ordered a deep fried Philly roll to go. It was just cream cheese and smoked salmon! Every Philadelphia roll I have gotten anywhere else has included either avocado or cucumber. Called to ask if they had forgotten an ingredient, but apparently not. Quite disappointed. Was extremely basic for the cost of $12 per roll.
