Came here with a party of 6 and nothing terrible to say. We all enjoyed our food and their hot sauces are killer! Also I do recommend to get their orange juice probably the best I've had in some time! Also the waitresses are very polite and if you're not sure what to get they will point you in the right direction. Thank you again! I'll definitely come back when I'm around there! ?
It's time for another breakfast foods review! ?Parking lot is currently transformed to outdoor seating, so be ready to look for street parking. Luckily, the tables rotate quickly, so you'll only need about 1.5 hours' worth of quarters! When we arrived, there were about 5-6 parties ahead of us and I want to say we probably waited only 15 minutes. When we were seated, they quickly took our drink orders and moved the specials menu right next to our table for browsing. I appreciated that a lot. What we got:- orange juice (fresh pressed!!)- sourdough toast- cinnamon rolls- turkey avocado omelette- two eggs with sausage and potatoes- clam chowderThe clam chowder came with a slice of garlic toast. Oyster crackers will no longer suffice; this is the new standard. It was hearty with lots of chunky veggies.I've never been to a breakfast place that offers toast, muffins, or FREAKIN CINNAMON ROLLS with their breakfast sets. I think it's pretty obvious what I went with. My eggs and sausage were pretty standard, hard to mess those up. The potatoes were okay, very forgettable. If I could go back in time, I just wouldn't have eaten them. They seemed like boiled potatoes that were cooked on the skillet briefly. The cinnamon roll was phenomenal. I don't like having nuts(or pecans?) in sweets, but we finished it anyway. It's soft and gooey (but still completely cooked). A smidge of butter is provided to make it extra indulgent. So good! The orange juice came in a cute cup and was the perfect amount of tartness to cut through the hearty dishes from this meal.I've been to very little Santa Cruz eateries, but it's clear Linda's cafe is loved by locals and tourists alike.
TAKE A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME TO READ THIS. This is my story, and how one person changed my life for good. I lost my job and there was no hope for me. I suffered looking for a job and luckily I came across Mrs. Carolina Johnson on a Facebook review about Forex, NFT, Binary, and Crypto trade. I borrowed $500 from a colleague to invest with Mrs. Carolina, thank goodness I made a profit of $4000 on the first week, reinvested 1500, and cashed out the remaining balance directly to my bank account. I was able to pay my friend and convinced her to invest as well, all this happen within a week. I'm very grateful to her for helping me manage my trading account. I will advise all of you who want to invest for the future and a better tomorrow should start with Mrs.Carolina Johnson Some might think this is a joke, but a trial won't hurt. give this a try and come back to thank me after. Other Trip Advisor reviews were right on ranking this the #1 lunch spot in Santa Cruz! Decided to stop while driving on PCH 1. So glad we did. All home made food. Huge omelette with fruit or potatoes AND toast or cinnamon roll. Waffle was huge in diameter. Thin, not Belgian, but excellent. Tuna melt with a side salad was excellent! Highly recommend this place! It’s a little drive (2 mi) off the highway but worth it.
This is my favorite go to place for breakfast when I’m in Santa Cruz. They have now added outdoor seating. The food is always good in a nice relaxed Cafe.In the staff is absolutely wonderful you will be well taken care of :-)
Excellent restaurant. I ordered the scrambled eggs with minced ham, country potatoes, and an apricot muffin: delicious!
Came for breakfast with my husband and 5 kids on our way out of town and so glad we did. We sat outside under the heaters and were quite comfortable. Everyone's meal was utterly delicious, the service was wonderful--coffee kept hot and full, fresh-squeezed OJ was perfection, food was out in no-time, and the staff were all so kind and friendly. The cinnamon rolls are what dreams are made of, and my husband I discussed stealing the bottle of their made-in-house hot sauce. Memorable meal. Hope to come back next time we are in SC.
