pleasant & quiet indoor dining with consistent quality over many visits
Outstanding in every way!
Exquisite food, fabulous service, wonderful music (unexpected, but now that we know about Wednesday goodies, we'll be back on that night). Our server, who is one of the best I've ever encountered (but whose name, I am embarrassed to say, I've forgotten due to old age) was her charming self, providing outstanding service. Our guest, who was celebrating her birthday, was delighted with the meal, as were we (and we have eaten at La Posta many times recently). All of the dishes were scrumptious and well presented. Thank you again for the memorable meal and ambience.
La Posta is a standout, serving the best and most inventive meals here in Santa Cruz. We always have terrific service here as well, which adds immeasurably to the experience. We appreciate the outdoor option and also that vaccinations are required for inside dining.
NEVER A BAD MEAL. OUR WEEKLY FAVORITE
All of our dishes were outstanding, as was the service. We were there last week and will be there again next week. It seems as though when we ask where friends would like to join us for dinner, they specify La Posta. We shared the Farm Salad, the magnificent antipasto collection of goodies, the chicken, the halibut, the chocolate wonder, and the gelato-coffee dessert, whose name escapes me (as I don't drink coffee). Our server this time, as last time and I hope next time, is a treasure.
Such a pleasant experience! We were early and had a drink while waiting for a table to open. The food and wine was great. They have a large outdoor area that was not shown in any of the photos.
