Yea! Lau lau on the mainland! The kalua pig was a tad dry like it was sitting in a warming tray but the cooked taro leaves were luscious and soft, so good. Just like I the islands, the meals are huge enough to share
Food not as good as it used to be , bbq mix plate was super bland no marinade or seasoning. Macaroni salad was bland as well. Prices went way up too. where did the old cooks go this was not good ?
Spam musubi is a must, absolutely gas.If you don't know what to get, get the mixed BBQ plate and you'll have your taste buds blessed sith flavor.

L & L Hawaiian BBQ is delicious. I only order one thing, so I don’t know that everything is delicious, but can’t imagine it would be bad.I get the healthy shrimp plate. It comes with garlic shrimp, brown rice, and a salad. They give you a lot of shrimp and they are super flavorful. The dressing for the salad is super tasty as well. On occasion, I will get the lumpia which is also excellent.Best to just call in the order to pick up. One of my favorite to go places. I know this is a chain and can be found in other areas.
Always a consistent and delicious place to stop by for lunch. The prices aren’t bad considering the amount of food you receive. $15 for a combo plate with leftovers for dinner is the best deal (I think) you can get around here. Give this place a try!
forgot how long ago it was. but l&l changed alot. back around 2009, things were simple. now its gone to complex or menu has some other fusion into. this joint i saw had lumpia. maybe added on the menu, but ive never seen lumpia on the menu before
Very good Hawaiian style BBQ. We get the low cal plate with brown rice and salad or we go hi cal with 3 kinds of meet and macaroni salad. Grab the Hawaiian Tea out of the fridge and it's a great meal...
It was really good. Just as what you would expect from an L&L.I did notice there wasn't as much on the plate as I remember there use to be. But regardless it was way more than what I could finish eating (And I eat a lot).It's take out only still so there is no inside dining.I would consider it again when I'm in the area and wanting some Hawaiian style bbq.
Satisfied with great amount of meats. Also I love their soft drinks, Hawaiian Sun. Want to try every flavors in the future.
