Wonderful food and service each time! Has definitely become one of my go-to spots in Santa Cruz. The consistency of great service and even better food is awesome. I’m proud to say I send a huge amount of guests that visit our properties to this place when they’re looking for great pizza in Santa Cruz.
Lots of staff! On Friday nights you get treated to a disco like review from the staff complete with props and 70's disco music The pizza, salads and pasta are the best.
Great service ! Excellent food!!!
We enjoyed our meal and had great service. Meat sauce was a little spicy for my daughter, but we loved the pizza and antipasto salad. Buffalo chicken pizza was the best we’ve had. Saw a lot of families jetting family sized bowls of pasta. They were huge servings.
My entire family said Kiantis has the best pizza they've ever had. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, service was polite and prompt, drinks were tended to, and their outdoor space is great! They even kicked on the patio heaters for us as it cooled off in the evening. I don't know if the street out front is always closed, but it was when we were there, and it made for some interesting and entertaining people watching.Oh, and I highly recommend the ginger mojito, it was delightful.
Great pizza and fantastic selection of craft brews! Pizza can be made vegan on request, which was perfect.
This review is for this Fiesta pizza; we have gotten it several times in the past and the avocados have been fresh (green). The past two times the avocados have been black like pictured here. It is obviously a bad avocado... sad to see it even being served; it's not a cheap pizza!
This place was hopping on the weekend! It has a nice atmosphere, trendy, inside and outside seating and all the staff seemed friendly and professional. We tried several dishes (an appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, a pizza and a sandwich). The spicy breadsticks were good, but the rest was okay. Sadly, the descriptions sounded better than the taste. Overall, it was fine, just probably wouldn't rush back for the food. Ambience, yes.
I'd wanted to try this place for a while and came in excited. The pizza I ordered did not disappoint, but the LONG WAITS and unexpected extra charges were otherwise...We waited for maybe 30-40 minutes for one pizza, and we had already been hungry when we arrived. I'm pretty sure part of why the food tasted so good was also because we were famished by the time the food came.I had also asked if it'd be possible to remove the spiciness, and our waitress said she was thinking the meat was the spicy ingredient and would look into it, and asked which meat(s) I'd prefer if they couldn't make the meat non-spicy. She never mentioned any extra charges. When we got the check, the price of the pizza was MORE than what had been on the menu, and there were also EXTRA CHARGES for replacing the meat (which they did end up doing). She took a look and said we had a good eye and that something was off, took the check and came back, but the extra charges were still there... And only then when we asked her specifically about it did she say that there were extra charges for replacing the meat - which was odd because we had replaced beef with a split of chicken/sausage, which are both less expensive than beef. Then we waited another 20+ minutes for our waitress to come collect our payment (she was busy serving other tables). I ended up having to get up and go to the front to pay, but the worker there told me he couldn't help me, and I needed to wait for our server... Thankfully the manager walked up to me to process my payment.Overall... A very disappointing experience, especially since the pizza was actually good and our waitress seemed really nice... It was just the long waits and unexpected charges that totally threw us off and were very unprofessional.
Nice friendly and fast service, food was tasty, lasagna and spicy pasta with shrimp are delicious!
