The place is very new, so this is more of preliminary than an actual review. The staff handled the rush well and once I reached the front of the line, my time at the counter was very short. There are no nuts or dairy in the dishes; everything is vegan aside from the meat and soup. Some of the banchan were a bit too sweet: I'd stay away from the radish, but the carrots, Kimchi and bean sprouts were good. Of course, that might be an issue from them figuring out things still. I can't speak for the meat, I didn't get any. The alcohol selection is a few bottled beers and ginger ale with soju.Edit: Yeah that didn't age well

Gluten free, healthy, AND tasty? YES PLEASE. Do yourself a favor and get it with the fried egg on top ?

Food tastes great. The portion sizes used to be a lot more realistic. Now, when I order food from here, the portions are embarassingly small. Very disappointing

Excellent food and service at an affordable price. Highly recommended trying it out. The chicken bowl with broccoli is one of my favorites. Plenty of gluten-free options for my girlfriend as well. Two thumbs up.

Ok people, this is what this place is. They took the idea of poke bowl, burrito bowl, or whatever then found a Korean dish and turned it into a product. Unfortunately, the dish they picked already came in a bowl and now it's a tray.Bbimbimbap. They deconstructed it and are making you pay to reconstruct it. As you put the ingredients back in you may notice it might be a little bit lacking and that's because it is. You are missing the ingredients that originally come with it because you're allowed only 3, if you want more you gotta pay for it. Oh, and the egg that usually comes with it is now $1.95. Their Hom sauce is gochujang.Am I disappointed? Yes. Did I eat every bite? Yes. Would I come back again? No. Why? For the price I paid I can go to a legit Korean spot and be fed more for the price I paid. The thing they did get right is the amount you will pay for two bowls. Korean food is always pricey no matter where you go.3 out of 5.Firecracker pork is pretty good.

I kind of love this place for getting something quick to eat for lunch without it making me feel bogged down. The prices are decent and the service is always good. I come here almost daily now

Really excellent, good priced quick and easy Korean food in a cool setting of downtown Santa Cruz. Well flavored meats, and delicious ban Chan veggies to go on top.

Wish we had these nearby me! So nice to get a quick fix Korean bowl

Food was good but the service was not. The male employee that helped us was very nice and made us laugh but the good experience was ruined when the female employee gave us attitude and treated us rudely. Overall, the food itself was generous in serving and pretty good. The only issue is rude service.

The place looks welcoming and the service was friendly. However, the fries were not fried they were overly drowned in oil. The mozzarella sticks came out soggy and tasted like an excess of oil. The portions are generous, but the food was rushed and not well cooked. For only 2 tables being serviced, I just expected better food.
