We were told and hr and a half to wait but you could tell just by looking around that it was not going to be that long. Ended up being an hour and they sat us at a super tiny afterthought table in the back. We asked to be moved and the waitress just ignored us. She said the tables are planned but she would check. She never got back to us.The table we wanted was empty the entire time we ate. Waitress barely came to our table. And the food was comparable to that at a local Dennys. I was not impressed and wont be back. Booooooooo...
I have been eating at harbor cafe for about 9 years now. There is so much I love about this place. The atmosphere is 5/5, a relaxed breakfast place near the beach with lots of outside seating. I also love their food, though I feel my regular order (was the Mexican armada, since that's been gone since covid I order carnitas omelettes with ranchero salsa) has been slipping in quality. My girlfriend always loves her scrambles that she gets. Overall a great experience and would recommend.
Patio is pretty nice. We liked the breakfast, especially avocado Benedict. Service is swift and friendly. Choice of coffee is limited to regular and decof.

Tofu scramble was terrific as was service. They need to upgrade hash browns. My wife enjoyed her Bloody Mary and huevos rancheros with a beautiful presentation.

Totally let down by my experience here. Went for a spontaneous breakfast out and eager for french toast I decided to go for it. But my French toast was basically toasted bread with syrup. Minimum egg dredge that seemed to only be on one side.My partners buiscut and gravy with a side order of sausage was decent. But his drink took nearly 45 minutes to get, despite others after him getting drinks from the same window. Our waitress came across pushy and rude as well.I totally understand it was decently busy there, I don't blame for that. But the pressure to "order quickly" almost as soon we were seated was rude. As well as wanting us to pay and leave quickly, despite giving others around us more hospitality.Wanted to like this place with so many other good review! But sadly our experience was not that.
We had a great breakfast and excellent service. We hadn't been there for a long time and the food is still good.
