First time at Ferrell's Donuts. The donut holes were fresh and newly made. The chocolate glazed had too much flour at the bottom. Otherwise very impressive. Quick service, prices OK. Open 24 hours.

Craving a cinnamon roll and coffee. Rolled in. Got two cinnamon rolls. More accurately, two rolls. Very light on the cinnamon. Won't get those again. Coffee was odd. No fake sugar. No packets of creamer or sugar. No stir sticks. Like it's barely staying in business. A waste of money.

The best place to get fresh donuts! I go there at least once a week and buy donuts for my work. They never last very long!

Cash only, how lame. Penny pinching a bit? They could at least put a minimum purchase when using a card ($10 minimum, or whatever). Maybe if it wasn't guaranteed that customers have cash, the homeless panhandling will get less intense

Solid old fashioned donut shop. Cash only.

Good donuts but bad vibe. It gets old when you get out of your vehicle and are instantly rushed and someone is asking for change or cigarette or gas money it’s always something. Get a job.

It's always a cast of characters at Ferrells after 1am lol. Be prepared to meet ppl outside in the parking lot. Nothing too crazy, most ppl will leave you alone, but they will probably ask you for the most random things. As for the donuts.. Definitely great comfort food. Try the croissant crossed with a donut..the CRONUT is a whole different world of tasty! Anyways, all the donuts are pretty damn tasty and fresh! If you want late night food in Santa Cruz it's either Donuts or Jack In The Box!

They have great donuts and the staff was nice. I'll change it to 5 stars if they deal with their loitering problem. People here saying they can't control it are 100% wrong, the owners actually CAUSED it, by allowing the homeless to use their shop like a living room. Owner has no balls, period.

I wanted to stop in here on my way out of your to get a doughnut. The building is old and could use some renovation but omg the doughnuts are so delicious! I'm a fan of trying places that look older and don't appeal to some. The only thing is there was a lot of homeless around. I feel for the business because it will detour ppl from wanting to stop in. The only employee working was so nice and friendly. The place seemed to have a nice steady flow of customers which made me happy to see. If your in town definitely stop by you won't be disappointed

Great hours. Awesome staff
