Tasty food. Gyro pita needed more tahini sauce, the sandwich ate a little dry. Also, wish they offered classic options for french fry dips -- e.g., mayo, honey mustard, yellow mustard. The fries are good but ketchup, tahini, and hot sauce are all kinda meh for dip options.Overall I was very pleased and will be trying this place again!

Amazing falafels!!! Loved the veg falafel burger. Small cute place. People are friendly. Cash only!

Love this little place & I like supporting small, family owned businesses. I pick up from here when I’m looking for something quick and simple. Haven’t dined in as it’s a little on the smaller side but the beach isn’t far. Best falafels!

Small, independently owned Greek restaurant. Cash only, but they have an ATM. They offer takeout and dine in, with indoor and outdoor seating. Typical falafel/gyro/shawarma menu; everything is good. My go to spot when in Santa Cruz.

Food is great but both indoor and outdoor seating are limited. Literally no parking and it is on a busy thorough fare. I recommend parking on the side street and walking over.

Five stars for awesome falafel. Bring cash, though, 'cause they don't take cards.

So good and so acidic and smoky. Baba ganoooch slaps

I have been waiting almost an hour for a falafel!

It was ok. The way the Employees made the gyros sandwich was stuffing things in one at a time. For example, at the bottom of the sandwich was cucumbers, and only then did you realize they were there. The meat is delicious. If the owner can hire staff who take care in presentation and flavor blending, the ratings could be higher. For the cost of the food more care should be taken. Also, I was told my order was complete when I was missing a bach of fries. Considering they make them fresh, that was a poor oversight.

My husband was looking for good halal food in the Santa Cruz area that was open at 8 pm. We saw the reviews and thought to grab something from Falafel of Santa Cruz. I, myself, enjoyed food from a different spot thank God!Issues:1) They only accept cash, which gives ne an indication of a sketchy business as we did not see anywhere online where it says that they only accept cash.2) My husband ordered a lamb shish kabob plate which includes rice and salad.- The lamb was rubbery and had no taste- the rice was undercooked and hard- salad was watery and too much lemon juice.- they told him they have him tahini sauce, but it was plain yogurt. Either they don’t know ur they lied.We will never go back because we literally had to leave the restaurant to go hunting for an atm as we did not see any indication of “cash only” on ordering via phone.Returned, paid for the food, and ended up with tasteless food.I shared my food with my husband to save his life lol.For people who look for halal food, my husband says “they claim to be halal but their practice in business is totally Haram.”They need to stop trying to scam people claiming it’s halal middle eastern food and should try their best as YOU ONLY HAVE ONE JOB! Which is to serve good food to the public! Anyways I’d stay away from here.
