Our favorite central coast bakery since we started coming here in 1992! Terrific croissants, especially the ham and cheese. Love eating on the deck.
Some of the best cake, pastries, sandwiches, etc. you can get in Santa Cruz! Straightforward, helpful advice from counter staff, and quick service. Many people I know consider this to be the place for a “celebration dessert,” or a pick-me-up, or somewhere to take visitors from out of town.
I literally never leave reviews, especially bad ones, but me and my girlfriend both had bugs in our drinks. We ordered a coffee and a smoothie that were made pretty quickly, yet we both had at least 1 gnat at the bottom of our drinks. Tried to call to complain, and no response. Pastries were also stale and coffee wasn’t great, but we had to throw out everything and couldn’t get a response to get a refund.
The last thing I want to eat before I die is a croissant from Emily’s. All their baked goods are pure Yum! I also enjoy their chai lattes that are more spice than sweet.
great staff, really good muffins and blueberry banana smoothie, and its all reasonably priced. there is a lunch rush around 1130-1 during the school year and usually theres only one person working so a line may form, but overall love it. Great place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch.

If you need a pre made sandwich on the go or a sweet treat like a cinnamon roll or cheese Danish. This is the place to try it out they also have amazing smoothies I had the blueberry and banana ? ?.
I asked for an extra hot Chai latte and got a lukewarm one. Berry muffin was dry and disappointing. To top it off, I was forced to wear a mask two weeks after mandate has lifted! Cruel to force this on people with breathing problems.
Jalapeño cheddar bacon scone is my favorite here.
