What an amazing experience this restaurant was the staff all courteous wait minimal 30 to 45 well worth it!
Great HAPPY HOUR! The crab cakes are amazing along with of course their clam chowder! Also, the chocolate mouse pie, just simply delicious!
Place has great views, good energy. Salad bar has lots of selections, good clam chowder !
My family and I were staying in the Sebring neighborhood and were craving great Monterey bay calamari. We walked over to the crows next because they were voted best appetizers and next calamari. When we arrived we got seated upstairs in the bar area with a great view and were greeted right away from a delightful young server. She took our order which arrived very promptly. We ordered the calamari and a couple of Mai Tais, now the drinks were too sweet and not balanced in my opinion but I understand that that is subjective and every place had their recipe. My issue here is with the calamari. Fresh local calamari should have come in the form of crispy tubes and tenticles.. what e got was a greasy plate of soggy squid steak strips with the bragging falling off. Disgusting!! Do not go here for the calamari, it was just plain bad. I had to give it 1 circle to complete the review and hopefully save someone else the trouble otherwise I wouldn't have given any.
Took friends out for drinks and food.. The fish and chips over cooked…. Caesar salad was wilty. The food here used to be good. Service was great and cocktails were good. It’s not worth the money for mediocre food. If you want drinks and good views of the ocean, eat before you go.
Came here for good reviews but totally disappointed with the quality of food and most of all, my family got sick after eating here. The food is pricy for the quality. The famous fried calamari is $20 for like a half of whole squid and the $30 halibut was dried and the veggies were certainly from a frozen pack.I won’t never go here again.
Service is terrible. Waited for an hour before we got our first bite of food. Had to flag down waiters as they rushed past to get anything. Maybe our service was bad because we had a party of 8 and the tip was fixed, but I think they are badly understaffed. Food was mixed, rice dish was gummy most dishes left half eaten except the steak was good. Overall quality of food preparation was poor considering the price.
Probably the best view from the deck! It has two floors and each floor has a different menu…. The Calamari was so fresh and clam chowder was super delicious! They host live shows too. Definitely a good place to eat and spend time.
Be sure to pick up a discounted gift card from the Santa Cruz Costco because it is really easy to rack up a $100 bill here for lunch for two. We sat outside with a nice ocean side view. Their award winning calamari was the star of the show. It was fresh and very nicely seasoned. The croutons on the Ceasar Salad was so decadent. I thought that the fish filet luncheon specials were a bit lacking for the price ($21-25 as of April 2022). The portion was kind of small and the steamed vegetables were bland. The mashed potatoes were dry as well, wish it came with some sort of gravy. The waitress we had was superb and attentive. I had a pleasant experience here.
I had the mocha crusted filet mignon, and it was very good. A companion wasn't too happy with the crab cakes, and another thought their burger was fine. The service was very good, and the location was good. The filet was great.
