I don’t understand how an amazing coffee shop can, at there discretion, close there coffee shop at any time they want? Why would u treat loyal customers this way. Sometimes posted in Instagram, sometimes not. So inconsiderate of daily customers. Very disappointing to walk all the way there, excited for my greeting from the staff and my great latte, only to find a note on the door, closed at 11:30? How can u feel good about people showing up and not open and it isn’t even close to 3:00? Confusing to me how everything else but this one issue can be perfect?
This place deserves a 10 star review! Incredibly friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. THE BEST COFFEE drinks we had while in the Santa Cruz area for 3 weeks and we drink coffee multiple times a day everyday ?. Plus delicious pastries and avocado toast! But really… it all comes back to the atmosphere the staff creates and this crew is top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Basically one of the best coffees I've ever had in my life hands down also fantastic customer service atmosphere is absolutely perfect can't wait to visit this place again. Also the artist behind the décor of the facility is amazing and we hope that he sells his artwork here soon that pretty much sums it up
Friendly staff, weak coffee, takes forever to get a coffee, served luke warm, they leave their beans in the sun, with a window they're sitting in front of lol. Avacado toast is very good - coffee is very mediocre or prepared that way. Make sure to wear your Patagonia clothing there to try and fit in ?? 2.5 stars!
Relaxed kind coffee people. Go surfing. Come here and grab a oat and coconut milk latte. Some avocado toast. Chill on the porch. Sounds pretty perfect.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and really liked the staff here - super kind people and the seating was ample!Good:I like how there are outlets and fast wifi here! There's also a lot of owners with dogs that frequent this location which is nice to watch as you eat.The sesame bagel was amazing though! Super tasty with the scallion cream cheese. Would recommend that combo.Bad:I wasn't a fan of the cream beige coffee drink they had - they described it as a milkshake but with the expresso, it was a bit too bitter for me and I had to toss out half of it.
We have driven by Cat & Cloud several times over the past year and I kept meaning to stop in. Today was the day and I will be back! The baked goods are from Companion Bakeshop on the Westside. The scones were delicious! Both the chai coffee with almond milk and the latte were spot on. The young man who greeted was so polite and pleasant and the barrista was delightful! Got a look at their Avocado Toast. Yes, I know what some of you may be thinking, but I don’t care. I have never tried them before, but I will try them here the next time I am in town! Why is it I keep hearing the old Harry Chapin song, “The Cat’s in the Cradle”? Well here, “The Cat’s in the Cloud” and it is time for coffee!
Nice coffee! The shop is cozy around and good for family time or hanging out with friends.
First of all, Cat and Cloud is great, but this location is not good. Parking is very difficult. I’ve come here 7 times and only been able to park once. Their neighbors also do not like them and won’t let you park nearby. They need to move this spot to a better location or pay off their neighbors to allow more parking for customers. The place is very popular to its own detriment. I avoid coming here now because I don’t want to deal with the hassle.
