My first time here and I have to say the date bagel with the date spread was a first and now staple for me. Cream cheese was so creamy and the walnut was fresh as was the bagel! So good and the outside atmosphere was perfect!
My boyfriend & I came here for breakfast during our Santa Cruz trip. It was really nice and simplistic. Our bagels were good, perfect Portion sizes, with my favorite part a good amount of cream cheese spread. The outside seating was super pretty, and calming. They had really good chi and some cool selections of other drinks. I honestly say this is def a stop to stop by for breakfast. It made my morning
Soft perfectly crusted bagels. Menu is A LOT to look at but the options are aplenty. They have a nice little enclosed garden space out back where you can enjoy your goodies
The Bagelry has great bagels, friendly staff, and an adorable patio for outdoor eating. They have vegan spreads and toppings, gluten-free bagels, and warm soup, so lots of options in one little shop! Their sea salt bagel is my current favorite, but you can’t really go wrong here.
Absolutely fantastic. It gets busy but line goes quick. Very close to the beach all things considered so grab it on the way. Worth it!!!
Back for a visit for the first time in 2+ years, and this was my first stop! Had the lox 'n cheese, creamy artichoke soup, and coffee . . . all DELISH! ☕️ ?
I love how affordable this place continues to be! Bagels are delicious and many yummy toppings. My favorites are the Bella bella for a savory option and the duke for a sweet option. PlentyOf other yummy options too!! Some employees makes them so deliciously,While others seem to reallySkimp on the toppings. The downtown is the best location because it’s the only one that offers feta cheese for the Bella Bella—otherwise I add a cream cheese to replace the feta (the cheese Louise is my fav!!)
Brando grabbed an egg sando and I tried this vegan New Delhi (Curry-seasoned tofu with green apple, scallions, toasted cashews and raisins) it was so good! All the flavors complimented each other so well! This is a perfect brunch spot when it’s not raining! We’ll definitely be coming back!
It's perfectly located for the walk to work each shift. Great food, great service. A real local vibe. Sometimes it's very busy the reason I'll pass on bagel and a mocha that morning.
The delivery driver swore at me (won’t repeat the words here) and threatened me saying, “ I know where you live,” and the manager said there’s nothing they can do!!! That’s so scary...he said this driver guy is famous for his bad temper and he is the best delivery driver we’ve got.Wow!!! I never heard of an employer who allows their employees to swear and threaten customers. Like that’s okay?I feel sorry for the staff who have to work with that scary mean man every day. It must be awful knowing that behavior is acceptable at the workplace and still having to go there to work to earn money.Beware, you may be sworn at and threatened especially if you are a female if you visit the Bagelry!!! Recommend avoiding it at all costs if you value feeling safe and don’t want to risk a man ruining your day when he verbally attacks you. What an absolutely frightening experience!!! Please be careful and safe out there everyone. I’m trying to contact the owner, John Hamstra (Linked-In is private, Instagram is private) to let him know directly, but can’t find his contact information, hence this review...
