Love the bread, sardines, peppers, olives + wine. That’s my jam. Love the natural wines with amazing unusual tastes and the generous assistance in finding a good bottle to share at our table. Love the @jaynedough and @yakitori_toriman pop-ups. Feel a bit like we’ve stumbled into someone’s party and they’re letting us hang out! Love the ambiance and have met nice people there.
great wine, great ambiance, and the people who work there are so good looking, and helpful. I would give Apéro Club 24875 stars if I could!!!!
Nice people with music. Okay wineOrganic but have to do a lot of trials to find something you'll likeAnnoying fake Japanese pop up sending smokey burnt soy sauce fumes into the wine shop all night. That's a big thing needs to change. That smoke is highly toxic.
YUM. Big fan of this spot. My bestie from SoCal was in town & found this gem of a wine bar, with all natural/sulfite-free/organic wine. It's cool, quiet, and simply excellent. Highly recommend flying your friends into the Bay & taking them here after a day well spent in SC.
Great place to go.
Great place, lots of natural wines
Very nice space w/ furnishings that feel comforting & welcoming. Unique wine selections.
We were so glad to have stumbled into this place on a recent Friday. The person working there (who was great!) poured us generous tastes from four bottles, speaking knowledgeably but not pretentiously about each one. We decided on a glass, and had delicious mussels and manressa bread to go with it. The decor is warm, hip-rustic, woody. The music is great. And (since I see a complaint in another review), we felt very comfortable with how seriously they were taking the current health precautions.
Great selection of wines to taste and takeaway, with staff who really know their stuff. A welcome, fun addition to Santa Cruz. Highly recommend for an afternoon of delight.
The owners of this place decided to have an opening with lots of people not wearing masks. When a good friend of ours decided to just let them know that was against county rules etc they proceeded to send him a rude email the next day. This is how the treat their new neighbors? Santa Cruz does not need selfish rude people like this, stay clear of this place if you care about our great local businesses in these difficult times!8/23 Update: Please find attached Aran Healy's email (one of the owners, and the person who replied to this review) that I originally referred to. I'll leave it up to the general public to determine if they want to support new businesses to the area who use this appalling language to their neighbors
