Holy moly - I was out there with my family for our son’s soccer game - had to stop in the plaza to pick up something for 2nd game & we decided to eat - I was skeptical because I had never heard of submarina - ( we almost went back to Jersey mike’s) but when I saw the young lady slicing meat for the sandwiches, I decided to give it a shot . The ladies there were super helpful and friendly . Almost as soon as we pulled out of the lot, - my son exclaimed from the back seat- “WOW, daddy, this is the best meatball sub I have ever had “.. moments later, I took a bite of my tuna melt & couldn’t believe how good - we travel a lot and eat at delicious places ( and I get tuna melts at every golf course I play ) and this possibly the best tuna melt I have ever purchased ( real talk).. kudos - I hope you have one close to our house .

Simple subs like Subway. Nothing great about them. I called in an order Sunday. Hit the liquor store for chips and drink. Arrived at Sub-Marina 20 minutes after I placed said order. It was not ready on account of, they didn't know what bread I wanted. Okay no biggie ? Wife and I where at the Sub-Marina for 35 minutes while our subs were slowly made. I was confused on how long it took because we were the only customers there for a good 15-20 minutes. I didn't complain on account of it was kids running the place. The young man seemed new and not well trained. He was a nice kid, very apologetic. The young lady seemed knowledgeable but wasn't quick to get our order done and get us out. She micro managed the young man instead of helping him. Meanwhile another customer walks in and the young lady tells her "Ummm, it's gonna be a ten minute wait." The customer turned around and left. I couldn't believe she let money walk out the door. Finally our order is ready. We're already at Ruther & Soledad. My wife says wait, we where charged $6.50 for the kid 3 inch sub. They charged a kid meal but didn't get the meal. U-turned back, wife asks for a refund on the difference. This took almost 10 minutes. A quick sandwich stop turned into an hour and 20 minute errand for simple subs at that.Never again

Was gonna get some BBQ at Rattlers, but a cold sandwich just sounded better. First time here. I like how they slice the meat fresh like Port o Subs. I got the East Coast, which is similar to Italian. Good sandwich. I like the sprouts.
Sandwich was made with freshly cut meat and fresh bread. Quick in and out. Taste great.
Sorry Not even one star today.... atleast for this pastrami. Paid extra $3 for a piece of extra bread. The little pastrami it has is ONLY in the center slice.
Fresh breads, lots of flavor in the sandwich & fast/friendly service. A+ The lunch box was just right.
This place is amazing! The sandwiches are exceptional, the meat is cut fresh for you on the spot, the ingredients are all fresh and crisp. The staff are lovely! Everybody is super cool and super nice. And now they have this new guy with super wild hair and feather earrings he was super sexy and I’m going to return just for him! But the sandwiches are already bomb! I highly recommend this place!
