Wife and I came by half hour before closing last night and had a great time. Looked like they were having trivia night, which apparently they do every night. I got the Requisite, which is a solid (if typical) hazy IPA. Wife got the Trade Secrets Raspberry & Guava Tart Smoothie, which was delicious as well. She really enjoyed it (as did I), though it doesn’t taste all that much like beer. Overall, good beer and a fun atmosphere that we definitely want to enjoy again.
Really delicious pizza! And that means a lot to this New Yorker. The crust is thin and puffy and chewy and crispy all at the same time. The ingredients are top notch. Many items are made in-house like the sausage, hot mustard for the pretzels, and more that I want to go back and discover. Our table tried 4 of the specialty pizzas and we can't wait to go back and try the rest, as well as build our own. Giant pretzel was s good starter and salad was a welcome accompaniment. I'm not a beer drinker so I was glad the brewery offers wine. The rest of our group enjoyed some unique beers and the tasting flights. The environment inside was comfortable and energetic. There's also outdoor seating on the patio which we'll try when it gets a little warmer. Overall it was a fun Friday night.
Pizza is great! But they're very strict about wearing a mask.
Awesome. It is always a pleasurable fun hanging out there. Beer is great too.
This is by far one of the best NY style pizza's I've had in years! The crust was thin yet cooked to perfection. The pepperoni was the best and the bacon cheese burger pizza was also delicious. They have a huge draft beer selection and the bar is very large with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The bar have more of an industry style atmosphere. The staff was nice and friendly. We enjoyed our visit.
It was comedy night when I arrived, and all the patrons were respectfully silent throughout the sets. They have consistently good beers, and I had consistently good company. Can't speak for everyone, but I'm going to be there again...
Really only gonna go three stars. Mostly do to some policies when you enter and order , oh btw there's no tasters just a sample for $3.00 . Idk , they do have food and that's great. Parking sucks but you can find a place when needed . I was only there to meet up with some friends to reminisce. The beer that I had was good, food was ok. I'll come back a couple times to see if I can improve the rating. Need to try more beer and more food , then I can write more about it. So we'll see, not much on first impressions.
Great atmosphere....good live music. Having their own pizzeria is a plus.... had a great time!
Don't tell anyone but it's the best pizza and beer in the SCV. Fresh ingredients, the best dough, incredible sauces and the best owners and staff.
Great selection of beers and delicious pizza. If you are in the SCV and craving pizza and beer, I highly suggest Pocock as your destination.
