This has been our favorite restaurant for many years. We were so disappointed to walk in and be hit with a strong sewer gas smell! Although they offered to seat us outside, it was in the upper 90âs and not an option. When I asked about the smell, I was told that it was a problem in the entire strip mall and not being fixed. Iâd hate to see this lovely restaurant go out of business, but if that odor isnât repaired, we will not be back, as I imagine many others will decide to do. We hope the owners read this review and fix the problem so we can return and enjoy Olive Terrace once again. In addition to this problem, my ice cream dessert had obviously been melted and refrozen, as it was full of ice crystals and had no flavor. Also, menu prices went up extremely, even in comparison to other restaurants.
Very authentic, warm and a great experience for my wife and I.
The menu is amazing! Lots if choices, will keep coming back to try most of the dishes.

I was quite excited to go here for brunch. We were disappointed. First of all we sat inside due to the heat however the restaurant had a bad smell like backed up sewer. We got beyond that and ordered. I had the crab benedict. It was ok not enough hollandaise sauce. The hashbrown casserole was over cooked very dry slightly burnt. My husband had the salmon benedict, same needed more sauce. The positive was our server, she was great and probably the reason we will go back. The mimosas were good too!
Usually we have a great experience at Olive Terrace but that was not the case this time. The water âpolicyâ at the restaurant is very annoying. While we did not get charged for water this time, we did have to frequently ask for water refills. We also did not get asked if we wanted to order additional drinks. Some of our food was warm, some wasnât. Plates did not get cleared timely.
The food is good here and itâs a cute place to go as well for a regular meal or a special occasion. I thought the service was slow and we were charged for water (fancy water) that we didnât necessarily ask for they gave it to us when we sat down. Lastly, some of the tables placed outside at too close to the curb. Itâs awkward and dangerous.
The ambiance is great. The restaurant was very crowded and very noisy. This was our first. The food that we ordered gave me a light indigestion probably because of the various spices. The prices are expensive. We will not return to that restaurant.
Server not very friendly, seemed annoyed, asked opinion on food choices, not helpful, not engaging, felt like we were just served what we ordered and given check at the end, bummer experience
Ricky was a warm and attentive server, host staff was on point. Always enjoy eating there. That watermelon basil salad! So good.
