Food here was pretty good. We got the bone marrow elote style, the scallops with risotto and the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. The scallops and risotto were amazing and the spicy chicken sandwich was very flavorful and spicy. The bone marrow was ok but I felt it needed a bit more seasoning. The staff was very friendly and polite.

We were seated immediately ordered drinks and the cheese board as an appetizer. We were informed of the nights special which was a Tomahawk steak with potatoes and brussel sprouts. I asked to switch the sprouts out for carrots. The meal was absolute perfection. The steak was perfectly medium rare, absoly flavorful. Potatoes were crispy and carrots were delicious. Served with a demi glaze.

We loved this place and it was an easy walk from local hotel. Nice and attentive waitress and delicious food! We visited on third Thursday which was the local block party and they still seated us quickly and provided great service. If we lived locally, we would definitely visit again!

We had a good time with friends. The fish and chips were great, the roasted chicken was tough had ask for steak knife to cut it. The smashburger was great. The place has a good atmosphere. We will go again.

Wow! We decided to take a drive from West Hollywood to give Newhall Refinery a chance and I am so happy we did. We were promptly seated in the bar area and we love you can see the kitchen in the corner of the room. We were quickly greeted by Cael and what a wonderful and friendly server! I suggest asking to sit in his area because he was wonderful! My husband ordered the smash burger with a side salad and I had the craft burger with garlic fries. We also ordered a Mai Tai each. The Mai Tai's were great but the food was outstanding! My burger was one of the best I've ever had and my husband loved his smash burger. We talked to the chef Devin and you can tell he loves what he does. We cannot wait to stop in again but this time for dinner.

Had a craft burger ($18) and a coke ($3). Burger was good. Extremely tender and juicy. The meat fell apart just a bit. Medium rare was closer to rare, but wasn't raw. Fries were ok.I sat at the bar. Didn't order any drinks, but Tyler looked to be making them really well. They should add freshly made onion rings to the menu in a place that serves burgers and beer.

Food was great, Had the Cali Burger and Fish and Chips. Fries and fish were hot and crisp, not greasy. Service was good, but a little disorganized. Consistent on multiple visits.

Let me start by saying that the food and drinks were great! We ordered the brussel sprouts, refiners fries, and charcuterie board and none of them disappointed. They were great portion sizes and had great flavor. The downside is that they came out before we even got our drinks. The bar is a little slow. Which, isn't bad until the hostess tells you that they're enforcing a 90 minute table limit on the sit down tables. High-tops and the bar are unlimited. While the server was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, there was maybe a 30 minute period where we didn't see him and needed a refill on our drinks.Telling us there is a time limit while you seat us and we're only 1 of 3 parties seated at 4pm seemed like overkill. We ended up staying the full 90 minutes because it took a while to get refills and the tables around us were still empty. I guess I jus didn't care for that vibe.

Cozy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Make sure you try their Refiner's Fries - fries with beef brisket and mornay! We also enjoyed the homemade spicy ketchup that came with our burgers and the Cucumber Jalapeno Cilantro Margarita was refreshing and delicious. Thanks for the delicious food and great service!

I had dinned there many times pre-Covid. I heard it changed ownership. I just went back last week with a group of coworkers and I was pretty disappointed. The Menu was basically the same as before but the meal I had was not very good. First the Cesar Salad was made with Kale which was not chopped and super huge leaves, as well as very bitter. This is not the normal lettuce selection for a Cesar. The burger I got was ok, a little dry. Everyone else said their food was ok, but no one loved it. I may go back and try it again in the future but there are other choices in the area that seem much better. Not the worst experience but not what I was hoping for.
