Food is amazing; super friendly and warm service from Mel (owner)! It was my in-laws, wife and kiddo and we ordered way more than we should have but everything was really tasty.Started off with the lumpia shanghai very thin wrapper lightly fried with a lot of meaty filling goodness and great sweet dipping sauce and the fried squid which unfortunately came out at the end instead of at the beginning but I will forgive because it was cooked perfectly (no rubbery texture here folks!) with a light, crispy and tasty batter with the most amazing tamarind dipping sauce which was very bright and a touch of heat from the jalapenos. *Chef's kiss - mwah!*Along with those two appetizers, also ordered the balulo (beef shank soup - light and amazing broth with a ton of beef), bagnet adobo w/mushrooms (this is pure genius with the portobello mushrooms soaking up the best adobo I've ever had -- not too vinegary and not thin/watery like a lot of adobo), cajun spicy shrimp (good flavor but wish it was spicier), pancit (kinda suprised that they only had the 1 noodle dish -- doesn't specify but I think it's pancit bihon since it's clear noodles). I usually don't care for pancit since it never has a lot of flavor...except this place -- again, in comparison to other noodles pancit is always lighter but this pancit was the best version that I've ever had! MIL ordered the flat iron steak meal for herself (she doesn't partake in family style and always has to have her own meal); but she did share a bit of her flat iron steak and the meat was very tender and the sauce was outstanding.Fantastic food and Mel was super friendly and we will definitely be making this a regular spot in our rotation. Looking forward to bringing friends here too. Be warned, that there isn't that much space for in-room dining but it wasn't busy when we got there so it worked out for us. Fortunately or unfortunately, we over ordered and the food was all excellent but we didn't have any room for dessert. FIL lamented this fact because he found out that they serve flan which he adores; they ran out of ube ice cream so it was kind of a blessing since that's what my kiddo would've wanted but she was also stuffed.Again, we'll be back, Mel! Looking forward to dessert and trying some of the other menu items. :) Wife wants adobo with just ALL mushrooms next time - LOL.For everyone else that's looking for another good Filipino place in town to try, stop by and let Mel know that I sent ya!
Warm, professional, friendly service, and excellent food! Saw the write-up in Eater LA and had to try. The pancit is very scrumptious! We also ordered the pakbet bagnet (a Filipino vegetable stir fry with pork belly) and it was superb! Their adobo with black mushrooms is uniquely flavorful. The dishes reminded me of home-cooked meals lovingly prepared. We will definitely be back!
Goto n Tokwat baboy is my fav in this restaurant. Highly recommended. Pakbet too is another favorite dish I have tried from this place. Don't forget the pistachio shake b4 u go home
Everything was so good esp the sisig & bagnet & its dipping sauce. Their “kapeng barako” (coffee) has that bold flavor imported from the Philippines. Ambience is perfect to hang out with family & friends, large comfy seats, nice clean restroom, relaxing sound/music & sparkling table utensils to name a few. Customer service is exceptional. The couple owners Melvin & Maddie (who are nurses themselves) really paid attention to every detail inside the resto. Chef Jake is awesome as well as our server Eva. Lots of parking spaces in the plaza, too. They have free lunch/dinner that day in appreciation to the frontliners. We will definitely come back & highly recommended!PS. They host the place for events & cater larger tray orders. I suggest to call them in advance for details.
Family friendly Filipino restaurant with familiar comfort food bagnet (roast pork) as well as other dishes. Highly recommended!

Delicious, innovative food that surprises your palate and comforts your belly
This a great family owned restaurant. If you’re into something new. Or your familiar with Filipino foods, this is the right place for you. Authentic Filipino food, serve to you on a banana leaves on top of your table with cutleries or use your hands ( wash hands first, don’t forget) or if your into plane plates for your food, just let them know and they’ll be happy to oblige. Their menu has a lot of newer things for the American taste buds. 1st- kare kare- meat of your choice cooked in peanut sauce with variety of vegetables. Krispy Pata - my favorite- crispy pork knuckles and skin with a very very tasty meat in it. Pinakbet- is more vegetables with choice of meat. They also have a large variety of seafoods galore you can choose. Whether it’s shrimp or tuna cheek grilled to perfection and other seafood your can eat at your own liking. They have very friendly accommodating staff. They have the best Filipino chef in town, who cooks very authentic Filipino food. Did I already said “authentic”? Yes, you, that’s you, you should give it a try. Something new for your taste buds.
