After having and endless back and forth with the wife as to what we should eat that day we finally decided that sushi was the choice for the evening. We walk into Ichiban and notice the pretty cool Japanese style decor. We were seated pretty quick but probably due to the fact it was a Monday night, but was still pretty steady with guest. Staff was very helpful and attentive to us. We started with appetizers. I highly recommend the oysters to start. They were delicious and came with a little bit of soy sauce and I believe also smelt eggs. We then ordered 3 rolls with my wife and I favorite being the fire fire roll. Definitely a cool sushi spot to try if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back to try all the other delicious item's they had and the oysters again!

Ichiban is my local go-to for a good sushi meal. Large hot sake, the beer tower, a few spicy crunchy rolls, some mackerel and I'm good to go! They also have a good outdoor setup which wasn't there before it turned into Ichiban. The owner always stops by and greets us and ensures we're taken care of.
We've been here a few times already and this last time they were so busy. We had to wait a bit to be seated understandably so nonetheless they're service was great, food was fresh and delicious. We really noticed how efficient the service was and we're really happy about our experience.
How could something as simple as fried tofu be this good? The fish was fresh, the sushi was delicious, everything was absolute perfection. Thank you! I will definitely be back
Went there first and last time, worst customer service ever. I ordered one type of sushi and they bring me a different one, and the waiters were so rude. They did not recognized my plate was not what I ordered even after I showed him on the menu picture. He told me this is only the picture, but this is your plate. I asked to talk with the manager and this guy told me he is the manager which I don't believe, he don't have the skills for a waiter, much less of a manager. And I see I'm not the only one complaining about customer service
Super yummy. Sushi is always so fresh and the service is extremely fast. Such a nice date night vibe as well
The food is pretty good, but the customer service needs to step up its game in my opinion. They should try having the same waiters serving each table. They're pretty slow so make sure you plan for the wait. I think they really should space people out a bit more. If we're eating food with our masks off, they should try to put people in every other booth (esp since there weren't even that many people there) The waiters actually messed up my dad's order and then forgot about his food again. They also charged us for four people instead of three. No offense, but I didn't think they deserved a tip :/ The food is pretty good though. I like the chef ?
First we waited close to an hour to be seated I expected a wait but around 45min into the wait multiple tables walked up 3 tables total and told the hostess they didn't hear their names being called so she got them seated immediately. Now when she went to sit a table of 4 ahead of us we asked about our table of 2 and she asked if we didn't hear our name which was funny cause we were standing inside the whole time and I watched the other tables play that game because they waited outside.Now we get seated and menus are given to us and she leaves no drink order nothing 15 minutes later another waiter comes and asks us if are order is ready to turn in. We gave him the menu and asked for 2 waters a strawberry lemonade and sprite. He came back with a strawberry lemonade and 1 water.We ordered 4 rolls and waited 32 minutes but of course the couple that got seated after us was already eating their food. So when we asked if our order was ready it came from another waiter 10 minutes after the fact.I have never done the whole review thing before until now because it was this upsetting I won't be returning to this place.
The service was good however, the food was not. The salmon sushi was chewy and everything tasted as if sugar were added. I sometimes get sushi at the grocery store and the quality of this siushi was on par with that. I will not be returning.
