***updated reviewIF YOU ARE IN A HURRY DON'T BOTHER TO CALL AND PLACE YOUR ORDER AHEAD OF TIME.This past Wednesday I called to place an order, they asked if they can put me on a "brief" hold, after waiting for a couple minutes I decided to drive there while they still had me on hold, I assumed they were extremely busy. I arrived to their empty drive-thru and only one person inside ordering. I was about to finish placing my order when I finally hear them say: thanks for holding what would you like to order? I told them I was already at the drive-thru and all they said was, I'm really sorry and hung up on me.
Very tasty food. However, the Guanatos Beef Taco looked NOTHING like the picture on the menu; looked like ground beef, but in reality was finely grated beef. In addition, the Cilantro was nearly non-existent.I would drive by and see the very long line, and thought it was because the food was so excellent; it was very tasty but the long line is because the service is so slow...Honestly though, I will probably come back because the food was so tasty but it should resemble the picture on the menu. So either they need to change the picture on the menu or they need to slice the beef accordingly.
Their tacos and their burritos Huanatos are pretty darn good. My new favorite Mexican taco place ????
This is my 3rd time here. So far! Everything, I tried, is delicious. Their birria is yummy! I had the regular birria last time. The first time. The red tacos. This time, I'm trying the birria burrito. Since, I'm driving and getting a quick bite to eat.
The line is always wrapped around the building so I had to stop in and see why. I had the asada tacos and they were a bit salty for my taste but the flavor was good. I was in a rush and the menu was pretty long. I will return to try other things on the menu.
First time trying this restaurant. This is their second location. Large dine in seating area and a Drive-thru, which is very convenient. I dined in and came quickly and very hot. I liked their habinero onion relish. Good heat and tasty ? Just enough to make you sweat. I ordered a 2 Taco plate. It was a little greesy but had a lot of flavors. Very clean restaurant. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.
Tried this place after Christmas, had to come 2 days in a row thats how good it was! Love this place! So freaking good! Can’t believe we have a authentic gem like this in canyon country :”) ❤️Update: guanacos tacos, you have my heart ? my favorite place ever!!!
First time trying this place. Not the best tasty birria tacos. Lack of flavor and kind of pricey. $35 for 6 birria quesatacos with 2 8oz consome 1 sangria and 1 M fountain drink and they charge extra for salsa on the side. I think Birrieria Gonzales and Birrieria VillaLobos still the best spot for birria or just better do it home with Jalisto birria Adobo in the Instapot.
I got the tacos rojos consome (tacos with the soup) and they didnt give me the soup. By time I saw I was already home and they were closed. As for the tacos alone, they are good but not nearly as amazing as what you would get from a taco truck or a tent on the side of the road.San fernando valley is still for the best Bierria Tacos.Pretty bummed about this experience considering the soup is the most important part :(
Drive thru service and food review: Friendly staff and easy to order. Food is flipping amazing. Birria burrito is my go to now. Flavorful and addicting. 1000% recommend!
