Outstanding Campus
Just finished getting my AA here and I've had a mixed bag of professors. Some were really great, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Others would cause me to pull my hair out due to lack of knowledge and poor use of both Canvas and or Zoom (my whole time here has been during the COVID-19 pandemic). I'm going to specifically call out my favorite professors: Jessica Small, and Fredrick Thornton. They are both youthful, knowledgeable people and are really kind hearted. I'll spare the less than savory professors from being put on blast, but I will say College of the Canyons can do a better job at vetting people for these roles.
I won’t be returning to this college, The professors are treating their classes like an extension of high school. Im 24 years old with military service and had to listen to a bio professor make idle threats as if they’re teaching young children, i.e. “You better not be late or turn in a late assignment or you might as well not to show up to class…” Looks like the only one who needs to grow up is the professor. Did they forget we are paying to be here, by choice!
