July 12, 2022 - This is an honest review. Mixed feelings. They tell you that you will get charged for extra rice left behind but over half of the items fall apart so you have to eat the rice in big chunks (picture included). The rice is a lot warmer then I’m used to (not sure if that’s why it falls apart so easy). The water they served is from tap and it’s room temperature, no ice at all which really sucked (Picture included). We ordered Shrimp tempura but couldn’t eat it because they didn’t clean it and there was a lot of poop in it (picture included) the waitress was really nice and apologetic. They only had one waitress but she was really nice and provided great service for how busy it was. They say there is no time limit or a limit on how much you can order but we noticed that after our third order the waitress took the pen from our table. The sushi here was delicious and good size portions. Had lunch 2 combo sushi & sashimi and the baked green mussels. As well as the tambour roll.
tasty sushi, wouldn't get the tempura again personally but my boyfriends food was very good as well. sadly his beef in the ramen was extremely rough, but I'm sure thats not always the case
GOOD CHOICE! Everyone who goes to this place knows that phrase....from Eddie himself. Their portion is a lot compared to other sushi places in Santa Clarita and if you stay by the sushi bar you most likely will end up with a few conversation with the master sushi chef himself, Eddie. Funny guy!
The sashimi was really good and at a good price but the rice for the chirashi was super sweet :(. If you are used to cheap sushi it will be fine but if you have tried healthier options this one is like a desert! Same for the seaweed salad. Extremely sweet!
They only had 1 sushi chef on hand. Place was practically empty. I ordered all you can eat. Took about an hour for 8 pcs of sushi to be served. I couldn't be waiting all day so I left. They charged me $28 and some change. I believe this is a little trick they use for you to end up paying more after waiting so long.
If you like your food served on paper plates this is the place for you!! Server was actually the only good thing about this place. She is running around serving food with picnic supplies while the person that appears to be in charge just uses the place as a hang out. 100 better sushi places!! I think I'd rather eat sushi at a place in the desert because the quality of the food would probably be the same.
The owner was there with his family eating and drinking for over an hour. The food we ordered was all on paper plates and paper Bowles. The plate I ordered the waitress could barely lift it without it almost folding over and falling on the floor. The cooks were good and our waitress was great even though when it got busy she it seed as she was the only one there. was. I don’t know if the other waitress was off work or just sitting with her family who owned the place instead of helping! The whole experience was not good.
This is a really sad review for an establishment but I see I’m not the only one who experienced this based on recent reviews. Maybe they should think closing up shop for a bit to get their ducks in a row. Ordered online @ 5:30pm, order said it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrive 6:30 pm & they don’t know where my order is, and certain fish is sold out. I’m waiting there for 15 minutes before they hand me my bag. They also give me replacement sushi, but then I open up my bag and notice they gave me literally 3x the salmon, and soooo many sauces & useless condiments. My order was not correct. Additionally, they were running around like the place was on fire (which it was, figuratively). I was so excited to try this place & it’s honestly the most disappointing resto I’ve been to in SCV. Highly do not recommend
