I ordered the black rice. But it came as a soup. I mentioned to the lady that works there that I didn't want it and that I thought I was ordering rice. It was also sweet and had granulated Sugar at the bottom that I wasn't aware of. I told the worker I am a diabetic and can't have the soup. She told me she couldn't take it back and she made me pay for something I just tasted and didn't like/couldn't have. They didn't make it right. I wouldnt ever come here again.
Authentic Hunan Style noodle.I love the broth, nothing beats a bowl of hot noodle during the winter time.On top of the noodle, they have some authentic appetizers too, like pig egg, duck gizzards etc.The place is packed with people during lunch time .You are looking at about 20 per person.
Yum Noodles is perhaps one of the best Chinese noodle houses that understands that you don't need atmosphere to serve excellence. The soup base is definitely homemade due to the taste of star anise and fresh ground chili peppers. With a choice of rice or egg noodles your taste buds will thank you nonetheless when all the fresh ingredients hit them. Feeling brave, ask them to make it really spicy, and even though the spice is intense, you won't concentrate too much on the burn but rather you'll be enjoying all the flavors at once. Yum noodles has definitely won a spot on my to go list for whenever I want something spicy and authentic.

My mum used to be the owner’s colleague. Haven’t come here yet, but to be honest they should have the best Chinese rice noodles in this country.I would rate them 5-star first. I wish I could visit there very soon.
Delicious food. Very spicy. I had the Pork Belly Stir Fry and it burned my face off. But I loved it and would gladly set my mouth on fire again. They give you big portions and pack the to-go plates to the brim. The titular noodles are very yum.

Ordered black rice porridge, spicy bean curd, and spicy pickle pork noodles. Tasted delicious and super authentic! Been looking for a good Chinese place in the area, and this is my favorite one so far. Will definitely be coming back again.
I'd say this place is a solid 3.5 stars. Rounding up for speed and convenience.Small joint where the tables fill up quickly, but they shuffle you in and out so you won't have to wait long.We got the small beef shank soup. Soups arrived maybe 2 minutes after ordering. This was good since I was starving.Broth has decent flavor but it was a tad too greasy for my liking. Noodles are overcooked and mushy, but I rarely find a good Asian noodle soup spot that doesn't do them this way. What's up Bay Area? Even NY has figured this out! Otherwise the beef is decent and it did what I wanted. Warmed me up, filled me up.If I'm in a hurry, this is a good spot.
