*Review of a real Japanese person raised in Japan*Don’t go here if you want authentic Japanese food. Thought a little insight from a Japanese person would help you decide where to eat.The nigiri were dry by the time it was served because the chef left it on the counter and no one brought it to the table until I asked for it. Even if it’s peak hours, you don’t leave raw fish in room temp for it to dry. Also, too overpriced for the poor quality. The rolls are garbage. Don’t even bother.Other foods looked like they were sauced up with grocery store sauces to hide bad flavor. Can’t believe people eat here. I’m disgusted by the owner using Japanese names and the term “sushi” to get customers. Those words should only be used for true sushi places and not for fake amateurs.
I love basically any sushi, and my standards are not high. However, this was the first time I left sushi on the plate because I couldn't bear to finish it.The nigiri was not bad (or amazing), but the sushi rolls i had here were insanely overpriced and terrible to the point of being inedible... I'm one of the last people to be considered a picky eater, and love sweet flavors in my food to the point ill often add extra sugar to foods that might not usually have it. However, the veggie crunch roll, and Mil roll ($16 for 6 small loosely rolled pieces!) were so caked in the sweet sauce that they tasted like sickeningly sweet candies. Their other food is probably good given the other high ratings, but definitely stay away from these two menu items if you come.Coming during peak hours ended up in a 40 minute wait after being seated, and was the most expensive dinner I've had in relation to the quality of sushi. We debated getting taco bell or sushi, and regretted not getting taco bell after this experience lol.
Great food, excellent service and the inside of the restaurant itself is also pretty perfect!
Great food! Great family atmosphere!
We visited yuki for the first time tonight. It was warm, welcoming, and the food was delicious. It's small and friendly and was comfortable for us, with our 3 year old. They even gave her a cool chopstick clip to help her use them, and a plain bowl of soba. The fish was fresh, light, and satisfying. The waitress was very attentive. We also had some combo rolls, the tempura mushrooms (yum), and some really good gyoza. We will definitely be back, and feel lucky to have found this little gem in our neighborhood. It was busy but not crowded with a happy atmosphere. They also had a couple of tatami tables! Thank you Yuki for a fantastic (birthday) meal!
Food is fresh and yum
